This rug was very nice quality and looked great in the space I bought it for. Unfortunately it was too thick, and neither my front door nor the closet door would open across it, so I had to return it Keep the thickness in mind when you order.

It’s perfect for my entryway. The fabric edging is well attached and matches my grey wood floors perfectly. No shedding or debris, at least not yet. Easy to vacuum. I’m really impressed with the quality.

I love this rug in our entry way. However it is rough when walking with no shoes on. My kids squeeze by the wall so they don’t have to walk on it if they don’t have shoes on. But it lays flat after leave some books on the end for a couple days and sheds minimally

I read some mixed reviews before buying this rug , but decided to roll the dice because the price was right and I needed a rug to at least temporarily fill the bill. I got much more than expected. The rug is very high quality for the price and I’ve experienced no problems with it at all. I saw a few complaints about the feel on your feet. I didn’t feel this was an issue but it does soften up as you walk on it. Just takes a bit of breaking in and that does not take long at all.

I had an identical type of bordered rug in the past. On that rug, the weave was consistent, no material sticking out of the rug and no noticeable breaks in the weave. That is not the case with this rug. There are a number of raised spots, ends sticking up and breaks in the weave that need to be trimmed down. I am worried that over time, these defects may turn into holes. Time will tell.

This is a hessian rug and is not meant to be soft, so don't buy this thinking that it's going to be soft. It is a great quality hessian/jute/seagrass rug that has stood the test of time in my busy hallway. It has not shed nor has it tore. It generally stays put due to the backing and is a nice quality heavy weight.I am really surprised that, given the low price, the rug has lasted almost a year of daily wear and tear. It looks exactly the same as the first time I unrolled it. As it is a natural fiber, it had the scent of seagrass but that went away after a couple weeks and it was not an unpleasant smell to begin with as it's a natural smell instead of plastic or chemicals.Overall I really recommend this rug, just make sure you research the texture of the rug maybe from a store, and look up how to maintain it. We only vacuum it periodically and it is fine!

This rug is very poorly made. At best I would use it as a door mat but not as a rug for the entire room. The rug is so loosely woven you can see through to the backing. The material is broken all over and sticking straight up and you can see where it has been poorly mended throughout the rug. The binding was poorly cut and attached. I would recommend spending a few extra 100 dollars and getting a quality rug, especially if you are purchasing this to anchor a room. , In comparison to other natural rugs I’ve owned this is by far the most uncomfortable to walk on.

Carpet runner is as advertised. Some loose strands, or strands sticking out, but these were largely repairable and seem normal for a natural product. Carpet is slightly rough on the feet, but nothing very noticeable. Overall, it does what it is supposed to
