Are there any directions for this thing

There were no directions in the unit I received. However if you look on the Amazon order website the picture pretty much shows how it assembles. I had no problem figuring out how to assemble it, but some of the threaded bolt holes were defective. I rethreaded these with no problem. The finished stand works well. You can rethread using another bolt of the same size and force it through the hole.

What is the weight limit for the stand?

I cannot tell the exact weight limit. I use it with a Studiologic SL73 73-key MIDI controller. It has weighted keys and a metal body and quite heavy at 25 pounds. This stand can handle it with no issues.

I lost the screws when moving to a new home. Do anyone know where can I buy them?

Sooooooo, we just moved into our new forever home and movers lost the bolts to our bed frame. I literally took one of the post that holds up the headboard to our local Home Depot and tried screwing screws until I found the one that fit in that section of bolts, nails and screws. I guess this would be your worst case scenario? I'm at work at the moment and all of my music equipment is still where we were staying temporarily. I would just take the smallest piece to Home Depot, Lowes or your local hardware store. Worked for me. : ) God bless

will this fit 38 inches by 12 inches?

It should. My keyboard is 37" long by 12" wide so 38" should work.
