Four of THESE? or ONE Bose Soundlink Color? you decide.
Side by side comparisons with some other Bluetooth speakers ... some costing FOUR TIMES as much as this Airwave (like the Bose SoundLink Color, at $129.00), leaves most of the others behind; especially when you consider value for your dollar. This Airwave sounds much better than the Bose for instance, likely because it's got two speakers to Bose's one. Also a bigger sound box. This Airwave lasts 12 hrs per charge ... the Bose lasts 8 hrs. This Airwave has ALL the same features of the Bose (colors; 2 BT sound sources; aux input; voice commands when pairing; etc.) plus some extras, like NFC pairing and mic for speakerphone use,Sure, it's twice the weight of the Bose, but what do you want: a dinky little speaker with anemic sound, or a better-sounding Airwave that lasts 50% longer on a charge. If size/weight is super-important to you ... and price is no object ... and you're a poser who wants to be seen with the Bose nametag instead of Creative ..... well get one of the tiny, expensive speakers out there. But remember, you're sacrificing sound quality.I own both the Bose and the Airwave, as well as several other, larger units; and I've only used the Bose as comparison because it's a recent model that's getting lots of advertising plugs; As you can tell, though, I love my little Airwave. Especially since I can buy FOUR of them for the price of a Bose ... and give three to my family & friends. They won't complain that it doesn't have the (overpriced) Bose name plate, I assure you.

Awesome sound in a small, wireless package!
Pros: The Airwave gives me everything I need from my a wireless Bluetooth speaker, and more! I expected to get average sound levels and quality with a decent wireless connection - boy was I surprised. The sound levels that the Airwave is able to reach are absolutely phenomenal. It easily fills a room with music, and is loud enough that I can clearly hear it while taking a shower or washing my car. Can't wait to try it at the beach! In addition, the wireless Bluetooth connection allows me to easily connect to either my phone, PC, Laptop, or tablet. Switching the connections are super easy as well.Even when I am using the speaker at max, or close to max volume (it's really loud!), I have no worries for the battery life. I haven't exactly recorded, but I'd say that I've gotten at least 6 hours of use at high volume. It's also easy to charge because it uses a micro USB connection just like my phone, tablet, and other devices.Cons: The lows from this aren't really that powerful, but it's kind of what you expect from a wireless device like this.Other: I haven't had the opportunity to use the microphone capabilities to take a phone or VOIP call, but I'm sure that it will work just fine.I'm going to have to find a friend with a NFC capable phone so I can just tap the two devices together to connect - I wish my phone did that!

Nice speaker... when you can get it for the right price
Nice speaker for the price...That being said I picked it up while it was $30 on some special or something. I am not sure if I would be a fan of it for the $50-$60 price I see now and defiantly not for the $100 price that they suggest. Don't get me wrong, it has pretty decent sound, volume, and great battery life; however, the sound and volume do not seem like they are in the $60 good range. They battery life is awesome, I can charge it one night and use it mildly for a few days without any hassle, not on for 48/72 straight hours but easily within the 12 hour life that they say it has.The buttons kinda suck and after a month and a half, it feels like the power/bluetooth button is starting to wear out or act really freaking picky whenever I push it. I will push it for the 8 seconds but it wont be the right angle and it wont do anything at all.

It's Okay. But if you're picky about sound skip this one.
I had a hard time finding a review for this when I was purchasing mine so I hope my review is helpful to someone else out there.SizeThe pictures of this device on amazon are hard to get an idea for it's size. I was concerned that it was going to be too small and therefor have bad sound. It's a good size. about 10" long and 4-5" high, better than I expected.SoundI think I'm quite bias when it comes to the sound of bluetooth speakers. For a few months I had borrowed someone's Bose bluetooth speakers and they were truly great. And being a person that's a little bit picky when it comes to sound quality I was a bit scared to try anything else. For these speakers: There is no deep base. So if you are an audiophile look somewhere else. The sounds coming through it pretty clear at mid volume. If you turn the volume all the way up you can definitely tell it can struggle with some sounds.Few Things. It talks to you when power the device on and try to pair devices. It's a little cheesy but I guess it can be helpful when trying to work the device. (it is easier to pair than the Bose was)My plan was to use this device for when we had outdoor parties in our back yard, I don't think that it's going to replace my old 1994 stereo I'm currently using. But since it is portable I do plan on keeping it for when working in the basement and yard workI spent $30.00 on this device (it was on sale). Had I spent the full $100 I would probability return it. The sound quality is just not there. If I can ever afford to get the Bose speakers I will. But for now this device will work.Edit:Been 2 days. Returning the device. I just cannot get past the sound quality.

NFC makes pairing a breeze, sound quality and volume only acceptable.
I paid $30 for one of these. I use it regularly, as does my fiancee. It's easy to pair with your phones because using NFC handles everything for you (and almost instantly).I came very close to giving this four stars, because at $30 it's a very solid value. You'd be hard pressed to really find a better speaker in this price range. That said, max volume is underwhelming. I had another bluetooth speaker (Rocksteady XS by Killer Concepts) and that little guy was smaller, much louder, provided significantly more bass and sound quality. However, it ended up murdering its first battery. I got another and it murdered that one also. Probably over charging. And it was hard to pair. So it rarely gets used.Back to this speaker: if you don't mind it being a little larger and not hitting a very high volume, it can create a perfectly nice ambient music. Because it's so easy, it gets used regularly. So if you want something portable and easy for everyone to share, get this guy. it's pretty nice. Your phone needs NFC to take advantage of the super easy pairing.
