Honestly, I was amazed! The quality, plushness, look, and feel were better than expected. I purchased this as a romantic fireplace rug. It was too high a quality for a rug, so now it lives on our king-sized bed. I highly recommend it!

Placed this in front of fireplace with gas logs. Very soft and a pleasure to walk on barefoot. Makes for some romantic nights in front of the fire with drinks. Would purchase again. Real sheepskin and great quality. Needs airing out. Smell leaves fast. Vacuuming it regularly is easy and keeps it fluffy. The dogs love it.

This rug is is just what I was looking for. My comfort, glam office/lounge was missing a warm, cozy, glam rug and this rug is just perfect. The 5'x8' rug came rolled up nicely and wrapped in plastic. It was light enough for me to move and unroll by myself, but because of its size and quality, there is a some weight to it. There was a very mild odor that dissipated after a few minutes of me unwrapping. A note came with the rug explaining that there may be a mild odor, and how to care for the rug. I've had the rug laying for a few days and there was light shedding (hardly noticeable), but after a quick vacuum with a hand held vacuum (as instructed on the note) that little bit of shedding stopped.It's not easy to find a quality, affordable fur rug that doesn't look cheap. This rug looks expensive and is definitely a statement piece. I wouldn't think twice about ordering this rug again.

Love this rug! I have several sheepskin rugs and I was not disappointed. The pile height is higher on one side as well as the natural yellow is heavier on one side where the other side is about a .5 inch shorter and very white. Had it not been for this variation - I would have given 5 stars!

It’s way prettier than the picture. Big and thick and fluffy!! My cats get lost in it like jungle cats slinking along on their bellies and sleeping on it. I’ve noticed no damage yet so well made too. I love ❤️ mine

I went downstairs to pick up the package from our building management office. I could smell it already. The rug was rolled up in clear plastic with one end exposed/open. From what I could touch, the rug felt soft and the color was good. But I was embarrassed to have received this and then bring it into the elevator with me. The smell was horrendous, like sewage or fecal matter.BACKSTORY: I had ordered 2 different sheepskin rugs from 2 different brands. My first time buying sheepskin. The other has a very faint animal/hide smell that is detected only when right up against it. This Safavieh rug, however, was for a different location in the house. Even without the first rug for comparison, the smell of this one is unbearable. I've bought many wool and polypropylene rugs from Safavieh. So I did not expect a negative experience.

I just received this today, the flash is picking up more yellow than it shows to the eye, I promise u, it's a lot whiter than it is in this picture. I'm very picky about my colours & if it's not dead on, I won't do it. It's plush & adds the decadence I wanted for my bedroom, I was shocked to see how much yellow the flash picked up, I've had this on my floor both daylight & at dark & it's very white. I researched many sheepskin rugs and most of them do have a yellow colour, but this is as white as u'll get to a real, natural sheepskin rug. I'm impressed! Can't wait to wake up & get out of bed tomorrow!
