Skeptical of waterproofness claim
This headlight kit is a good value especially since it comes with two brackets and a rear light. However, the headlight (really just a flashlight that takes 3 AAA batteries) does not come with weather-sealed battery cover. The screw on cover is just metal-to-metal without any rubber seal like you'd normally find on any moisture-proof flashlight. So, the claims of "waterproof" are to be taken lightly. Any moisture entering the battery compartment is bad, even if just a little bit. If you need to use your headlight in rain, then you should look for a true IPC-rated headlight kit. I returned this product and purchased a better quality headlight.

Great value, even better customer service.
This is an outstanding value and quality light from a company with superb customer service. I was impressed with the packaging, solid feel of the lights and just what you get for a very reasonable price. Front light, rear light, extra bracket (and at least temporarily, spare button batteries), all for about $12. I did have a problem with my light initially and emailed customer service. I heard back from Don, the owner, very quickly (on a holiday weekend!) and he immediately mailed me a replacement light, which is perfect. I would buy again from this company without hesitation.

Not bright enough for night riding even using 2 of them.
Too dim for night riding even using 2 of them. Only kept them for the mounts (which are very good) and used much better flashlights. Using the lights around the house or walking the dog.

Doesn’t fit
I like the light. It’s nice and bright. But the bracket, to hold it, is too small. It won’t fit around my handle bar. And I don’t have abnormally fat handle bars. The Free tail light is super bright, but I lost it on my first ride with it. It totally fell apart. The little thing that holds the light was still on my bike, but the light was gone. Sad. I wish I still had it. So I only give two stars because it doesn’t do any good if you can’t attach it to your bike or it falls apart and you loose it your first ride.

I have been road biking for a few years but couldn't convince myself to spend the money on a good bike light for myself - I just kept stealing my husband's off his bike. I finally decided I needed my own, especially because we'd like to start biking together. I got this one for only $14.67 which was too good of a deal to pass up. The extra mount will come in handy if we want to swap this one too. 280 lumens on the high setting provides a pretty strong beam. The medium setting is nice to be able to conserve the battery, and the strobe setting is cool but I don't see myself using it much. The included taillight was a nice addition, but I had purchased the Bright Eyes Light 100 Lumen Waterproof USB Rechargeable Bike Taillight when I bought this one, so I passed the smaller taillight onto my son for his bike. My only complaint with this bike light is that it is not rechargeable, but for the price you can't really lose.

Very bright
I love this. It runs in AAA batteries so I don't have to try to connect a USB cable in the garage where I keep my bike. The batteries will last quite a while. Very bright and I get seen during day time with this on blinking, especially from cars backing out of their driveways. Unfortunately to aim the light, you have to rely on the settings through clicking it from left to right. Since my handle bars are sloped back somewhat, I can't get the light to aim directly ahead.

Bike light and easily detaches if you need a flash light!!!
I loved the front light and rear light. The front light is easily changed from flashing to constant and is easily removed to use as a separate flash light, if needed. It was so easy to install!

Will light up your life
This light has been great so far. I've only had it a few months but it illuminates the entire bike path on dark nights. The metal casing seems pretty sturdy for the price. I use rechargeable batteries with it and they aren't "drained" when not in use like with previous bike lights. The bracket fits my mountain bike handlebars well and the light is adjustable and detaches easily. I also like that it simply turns on or off, there isn't a bunch of different blinking settings- although you can focus the light or have it diffused. The bonus back light is pretty nifty too, it comes with one of those flat batteries (that may be difficult to replace) and it's probably lasted around 10 hours so far.
