Review: Outdated - This book hasn't been updated since 2001. I would not have purchased it if I had realized it was so out of date. Python 3 differs enough from Python 2 as to make this book quite useless except as a reference for someone trying to understand a legacy Python 2 codebase. I knew I'd made a mistake buying this book as soon as I saw it mentioning Sun Solaris as if it that was still a relevant thing.

This book hasn't been updated since 2001. I would not have purchased it if I had realized it was so out of date. Python 3 differs enough from Python 2 as to make this book quite useless except as a reference for someone trying to understand a legacy Python 2 codebase.
