Delicious, Nutritious Dinner Ideas
This book is a wonderful resource for me. I've made half a dozen or so of the recipes so far, and each has been delicious. For example, I made a swiss chard quiche last night, and it was so good! The book is an interesting blend of convenience ingredients and plenty of fresh fruits and greens. I will be relying on this book for months to come. Some reviewers felt this book was for beginners, but I don't think so. The book is sketchy with details: it assumes you know how to cook and prepare basic ingredients, so no instructions are provided. The book would be better if the editors had provided ideas for what to serve with the item featured. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are a lot of salads and sandwiches. The weakest part was a chapter on oatmeal, in which the editors merely suggested various fruits and sweeteners to change it up. There's so much you can do with oatmeal!Successes so far: Spinach Salad with Bacon and Croutons; Apple, Sausage, and Cheddar Monkey Bread (excellent, but serves about 4, not 12, as stated in the book); Bacon, Avocado and Egg Salad; Quesadillas with Ham and Peppers; and Turkey Empanadas.Next week, I'm planning to try Chicken Philly Cheesesteaks, Orecchiette with Rosemary Carrots, Sausage and Broccoli Calzone, Crispy Shrimp Cakes and Salad, Ham and Asparagus Quiche, and Ravioli with Apples and Walnuts. So--lots of fun ideas for delicious, nutritious meals. I have not tried any of the desserts yet.

Easy, quick, healthy and delicious!
Absolutely love this cookbook! It's my go to for dinner! Its super simple to find recipes for ingredients I have on hand and they all taste really good. My kids love them and I've found new recipes to try and they never take long at all to make which is great when I'm tired and just need food! I love this book and highly recommend it

Quick, easy, tasty, using typical neighborhood grocery staples
Some of the recipes riff off each other - how many different toppings can you add to oatmeal and call it a DIFFERENT recipe - but the meals we've made so far have been quick and tasty using fairly common ingredients. Some of the chapters aren't really meals *based on* that ingredient as much as it's *included* in the dinner. For example, Broccoli chapter there is a recipe for steak and broccoli stir fry, which could have easily used any other vegetable. I do like having recipes for an entire meal, and the instructions are short and to the point. There are lots of options for sides, if you want to add other dishes to your meal. I got this from the library first and it's a definite buy.

Fantastic Cookbook for Simple, Creative and Healthy Meals
This is a fantastic cookbook. I'm a working mom with two young kids. I try to cook most of our meals. I need healthy recipes that only involve a few ingredients and steps, and that don't create a ton of dirty dishes in the process. This cookbook has lots of simple but creative recipes that meet these standards! There are beautiful photos, and it is organized alphabetically by the featured ingredient making it easy to find the recipe you are looking for. I also appreciate that almost all the recipes are complete lunch or dinner ideas, which makes meal planning a little easier. I highly recommend this cookbook.

Recipes are easy and sometimes based on things that you have to ...
It is a really simply book. Recipes are easy and sometimes based on things that you have to but (I mean "ready to bake" kind of stuff). I might have been expecting something more elaborated, but all and all it's ok

I love this cook book
I love this cook book! The recipes are simple and healthy but the best thing is the format of this book. Everything has a high quality picture and the book is broken down into ingredient sections vs types of meals so it's easy to find something to make based on what you have at home!

Simple with great photos!
OMG this book is amazing! Bought for my nephew but I’ll be purchasing another for myself. Each page is one or 2 recipes with the finished meal photo! Incredibly simple meals. Where was this when I was first married!?!

Great for newer cooks like me!
Overall I am very happy with the book. The first few items I have made have been relatively easy to follow, but they are not as quick as indicated. I will add that the 35 ingredients is also somewhat misleading as there are other products that the authors assume are pantry basics ( e.g. cider vinegar) that are needed that are not one of the 35. I purchased this as we needed to freshen up or work/ school night meals. I will admit I'm not the biggest cook so it has been helpful to get me to learn some tricks for easier food prep which is great.I will add that I purchased a used copy that was in perfect condition. So kudos to the seller!

Two Stars
Good recipe book. But, the first 10 pages or so had water damage.
