Barska Gladiator Binocular with Ruby Lens

The binoculars are heavier than I expected but they really work well. They appear to be well made and dont fog up. I have used them for hunting for one season with no issues.As you can imagine, the magnification makes the lowest-power field of view pretty tight as indicated but the picture is very clear. I found that adjusting the magnification would require me to fine-tune the single eye focus slightly to make images crisp but this might be user error more than the binoculars.The coatings do a good job of increasing visibility at low light considering the price.The lens caps are thin and have no means of securing to the body so they will be easy to lose. These would be great for bird watching with a tripod or if hunting from a fixed position but the weight and high magnification make them a little impractical for stalk hunting less that about 150 yards out from a target. Perhaps in the mountains or prairie.Overall, I’m happy with them and will definitely use them a lot in the future in the right conditions.
