K-EdgeGarmin Mount Replacement Polymer Insert [KEGINSERT]

The part did not fix my brand of out-front mount because the diameter was too wide. I shaved it down by putting it on a bolt and turning it and shaving on a drill. It now works perfectly.

Broke mine while riding my bike this was a perfect replacement for Garmin 530.

Made a stupid mistake turning through a corner and crashed. As I hoped back on the bike, I heard my bike computer knocking against my headtube. (I am very grateful for the lanyard that kept it from falling to the ground).I wish I wouldn't have crashed, but this was an easy fix.

This is fake Chinese garbage, Garmin fell off in the parking lot before first ride. Straight into the trash.

It fits and works tightly with my Garmin 830... that all needs to be said.

The authentic ones have KEdge in the plastic cast in the center. They also have the Garmin quarter turn entry notch at the topb and bottom of the mount, in line with the screw points. The first item I received was used junk. You can see the lack of branding, screw mounts at a 45° from the quarter turn notch, and obvious user modifications in the center and hole punch in the plastic at the top.I did a cancel and reorder and got the correct part, but beware and double check for authenticity.

Bought this to replace the insert of another brand mount. It didn't fit inside the mount but with longer screws I am able to use it by having it flush with top of the mount.

This insert is an exact replacement for the piece that broke on the mount for my Garmin Edge 500. It even includes the 2 screws with thread lock already applied to the screws. The wind knocked my bike over and when I saw the GPS laying on the ground I was a little pissed about the mount breaking. Then I discovered the mount was doing exactly as it was intended and the GPS is still okay.
