I purchased this product for emergency use. Can it be used for camping , hiking etc. Yes . Easy to read directions , plenty of tasty choices , can be shared . Cook the packet right in hot water over fire / on stove , no this is not a US Military MRE , but can do for the average joe or outdoorsman and company. Price was reasonable compared to others .

The best kit for selection I have used so far. Superior taste and ease of cooking.Everyone should have one.

Decent amount of beef nuggets in the beef noodle. Tasty and easy to prep but I prefer mountain house beef stroganoff. I always put less water (reduce by half a cup for the entire readywise package) than the directions state for both the MH brand and this brand because I prefer a thicker consistency. It’s not bad but I’ll stick with the other brand when it’s on sale. Readywise is much more cost effective/calorie if you are looking for a more budget friendly product.

Bought this for emergency purposes. Have not tried it. Hopefully will not have to use it. Nice price too.

I don't know what to say! I bought this product because the review, I tried it as per instruction let it set for 15 min. It wasn't eatable , I let it set another 15 min still crunchy. it was same for all the packs. sorry I had to write this

For the price these are actually a pretty good emergency storage item. Easy to prepare, tastes pretty good and plenty food per serving.

The food was pretty good and easy to prepare on the 3 day hike. I found that the food needed to sit a bit longer than it said though. Overall great purchase!

I would put most of these meals in the good category of taste. But there is no doubt that some of these meals taste better than others.What I mean is that some of these meals taste great.Other meals have the bland taste normally associated with preserved dry foods. These are not my 1st choice for dinner.The good point is that several of these meals comes with real meat in them. The meat has been dried and needs to be rehydrated with HOT water, but it's not bad in several of the meals.Make no mistake, a few of these meals are meals that I would never choose.So this is a mixed choice on your taste buds.
