Excellent storyline
Was a nice read communicating life principles in a unique way for children to understand and apply the concept.

My 4yo didn't like it but I do!
My 4 going on 5 year old has been having some issues lying recently. I got this book & read it to him. He said he doesn't like it and doesn't want to read it again (actually wanted me to throw it out or give to another child) because he thought the monkey was mean. I told him if he stops lying we don't have to read the story again. Hope it works! Aside from him not liking it I thought it was well written& liked the book.

Deals with issues that kids will relate to
My 5 year-old grandson & I have had a great time reading the story. We even used some of the learning tools at the end of the book. I was surprised at some of the more subtle social messages that he picked up right away. Now he asks "What else do they have for us to talk about?" Awesome. We also found out that this is part if a whole series of books that help kids with different situations. We will definately purchase more of them!

My grandsons love these books!
I bought a couple of the Howard B. Wigglebottom books for my grandsons for Valentines Day and they love them. We were having trouble with the youngest, who is 3, listening and the book helped quite a bit with that. The lessons are taught with a great story so the kids seems to absorb them better. My grandsons are 3 and 6 and they both love these books. I'll be ordering more...

Great books for primary grades
These books are wonderful in teaching school children or children in private practice. Kids like Howard's character in the story and while they laugh a little at his name, the point the author is trying to get across comes through loud and clear. This seller was prompt in getting the book to me and the quality was exactly as described.

Great book for teaching the importance of being truthful
Great book for teaching the importance of being truthful. Each time Howard makes a choice, he explains why he chose not to tell the truth (i.e. It might get a friend in trouble.) Also included are great lesson suggestions in the back of the book.

Not for Toddlers
My 3 year old kept lying to me so I tried this book. He hated it and I wasn't a huge fan either. I think it was a little too old for him, and elementary school kid would do better with it.
