PILOT Dr. Grip Center of Gravity Refillable & Retractable Ballpoint Pen, Medium Point, Charcoal Grip, Black Ink, Single Pen (36180)

I only bought this pen because I either mis-orderd refills for my favorite work pen ( Pilot V5 RT ) or Amazon sent me the wrong refills (I’m a server and we are responsible for our own pens, I love the Pilot V5 RT and apparently so do my guests because I get more pens stolen by my tables than anyone I know) Here I was with refills of a pen I do not have. I opened them recklessly & after looking up exactly the pen they belonged to I got curious because it looked pretty good so I just bought the pen for my own personal use. It writes smooth, buttery, light-weight, feels nice in the hand. I suck at journaling, but I was gifted a Moleskine and when I actually use it I’m happy with this as my go-to special at-home pen…for a very long time since I have extra refills

I love my Dr. Grip pens, and I decided to get a spare in case one went missing. These last forever, and I have had my other Dr. Grip pens for years. They feel great and write beautifully. I love how they hold up.

As someone with arthritic hands, finding a comfortable writing tool has been a constant struggle. But this pen? It's a game-changer. The design is so well thought out, providing a wonderfully comfortable grip that doesn't strain my fingers at all. It glides across the paper effortlessly, and the ink flow is consistently smooth. I also really appreciate the balance and weight of the pen; it feels substantial and well-made without being too heavy.

I have moderate arthritis in my thumb area. I don't write much anymore but when I do, regular pens really hurt after writing a short amount of time. This pen design feels great in my grip and is much more comfortable.Also the ink writing is very smooth and helps also in some way.

I'm just adding one more point here:Since I do like fine line writing but found the 0.5mm acroball to be too fine, I plan to try the 0.7mm acroball refills for my Dr. Grip gravity line pens (G-Spec, Fullblack, Center of Gravity) eventually.The proper item name for these 0.7mm refills is: Pilot BRFN-10F-B.Please note that the longer acro refills won’t fit!

This style of pen (as well as the fine point version) is my favorite to write with. The picture shows that it comes with a refill cartridge but it does not. The writing is smooth. The grip is squishy & wider than normal pens which helps to keep from cramping. The push button works well and has a nice click sound.

I am a big pen snob and I really love this pen. It writes very smooth. There has been no build up of ink gunk on the tip like you get with so many cheap pens. The over all feel of the pen is very satisfying. I like this pen so much, that I bought two more of them after I tested out the first one for a while.
