Had to purchase for school but it's a neat little book. Learning alot about the flute.

Great method book. Great service.

I purchased this item after getting a new flute to start playing again. I haven't played since I was in high school, so over 30 years. I remember a lot of the information re: the correct fingering positions and the music notes reading. However, I felt that I needed to get this just to give me some exercises to help me feel more comfortable before I tried anything more above my current level. It's very easy to follow along and I enjoyed getting the feel of the instrument back with the help of this book. I recommend if you are returning to the world of music after a long break.

I ordered the wrong book. Seemed sturdy and useful.

Nice flute book. Only disappointment was that I had to order the cd separate after receiving the book. It would have been nice to be able select a cd or internet download at the time of purchase. Cd came fast though through the free mail order.

My son uses this book at band class. Very useful and easy to read

For flute, not trumpet. Apparently that matters, as my daughter informed me. I’m sure this book is great for flute.
