Do not sand down old mirrors. They were made using mercury which is highly toxic. Best to use an actual mirror spray. This is more for glass decor.

Q: Would this spray work on resin/high gloss-finished surfaces. Ex: Paint directly on resin surface, then after paint dries, apply coat of resin on top?

you can paint anything or spray any spray paint over resin. And then re-epoxy when it is dried.

Q: I need to reduce lumens of a light bulb without affecting color temperature? Is it translucent?

If you spray a traditional incandescent bulb with a reflective paint you will get a heat spike. It MAY or MAY NOT be a problem, depending on the bulb wattage, but a larger bulb can cook a plastic socket. This is a recognized problem with half-silvered incandescent bulbs.

I did my car tires. Came out very nice.. long shine.
