Well didn't buy for lawnmower. Bought for 2015Tao tao 125cc ATV. Had peacock problems with original one. And had past peacock problems with that style petcock on my 1990 Fatboy. Those type just where out year after year. Like bike I got this more straight through design. Used regular ATV fuel line 1/4 id. And made mounting bracket from old electrical conduit bracket. Used adjustable hose clamps. Mounted to ATV frame. And now has flows like a charm. When went for days trying to start with original peacock... Put this one on a ATV started right up. Can tune it in now with the new carb. One great price with quick delivery packed tight and right. Didn't need the clamps but will work on bikes fuel line in the future. Glad this was out there. Way better then cheap ATV peacocks. Which have rubber gasket inside that wears out and blocks gas but not this one... straight through flow. Oh yah!!! Fixed my problem without a doubt. Hope others see this and have same idea. Added an extra fuel filter. One before normal spot and one after. The after to filter gas one more time and ease the fast flow just a little. Probably the last peacock I will ever need for this ATV.

I purchased this to put on a riding lawn mower that was still leaking some gas after overhauling the carburetor. I figure a valve is cheaper than a new carb.I was going to get one of those red and black valves, but it appears the same model is sold by many vendors. Besides the reviews that say they break or leak, the handle has an embossed image of a gas pump with a circle around it and slash from top left to bottom right - a symbol that says it's is not for gasoline!So I forked over extra money and bought this ball valve that works and is easy to turn despite being on a gas line under the tank.

I installed this shut off on my Craftsman snow blower after using those cheap plastic shut offs that leaked almost immediately. Well-made and durable!
