iDesign Pantry Food Storage Organizer Bin for Kitchen with Air-Tight Hinged Lid-3 Quart, Clear

I needed a "meatball locker" for the fridge, and this was exactly what I was looking for. It's more expensive than I was expecting, but it really is perfect for my need, so I gladly paid...but just once so far.I keep my toddler's finger foods in one section of the refrigerator and wanted a hinged food container that was only about the height of a standard 12oz can. After a lot of searching I finally found this, but wasn't sure if it was the right size because the dimensions given were a bit ambiguous. Numbers are provided, but which is length, width, or height wasn’t clear from the product description.The two-quart size is about 2mm taller than a 12oz can, so it fits in the tight space I needed it to fit in. I call it our "meatball locker" because this is where I keep meatballs available for quick access. No need to tie off bags or look for the clip - I just leave an open bag of meatballs (or fish sticks, etc.) in the container and they stay fresh as long as I need them.I like how clean it looks overall, and would love more, but I only really need the one. I would definitely buy this again if I ever need to replace our current bin.

Updated 08/13/2020I've continued to order this product for at least three years now. I use it both in and outside the fridge. Nut assortments, fruits/veggies, instant salad bar, marinating meat... pretty much anything and I am never searching for a lid. They stack perfectly and it makes sense since the fridge and cabinets are square.The recessed lid keeps these from tipping over and you can move them around on the shelf like a Sliding Square Puzzle. MUCH less work while still very organized for my OCD spouse. Easy to clean!! You also know right away if something is going bad instead of opening that container masking something furry! I've always been a huge fan of glass containers and I still use them for things that tend to stain. These give you the look of glass and if you drop and break it, it's not nearly as messy to clean up. Although I've lost some of these to some pretty interesting adventures through toddlers, teens, and projects....I lose most of them through the seemingly innocent theft with leftovers!TIPS...1. DO NOT run them through a sanitize or dry cycle in the dishwasher--melts like butter on a hotplate! You can run them through the dishwasher when they are newer if it's not too hot and you get it out before the dry cycle. Depends on your particular situation (water/dishwasher/teenagers used all the hot water...etc). In general, I don't recommend it.2. Cleaning is a snap for anything that is not greasy--just fill about 1/4 with water and some dish soap...close, shake and rinse! For greasy stuff I usually do the same but then let is sit for a bit and sponge it down.3. Leave upside down and open on a towel, drain rack or sitting open on the dishwasher drawer to dry and they won't have streaks or smudges.4. If you like to cut up veggies or pull traps off the vine, etc...cycle them. I usually fill a later container and then dump the contents into a smaller one as it's eaten during the week. This helps keep cut fruits and veggies from getting soggy and growing mold.At one point I ordered one without the sealing gasket and wish I could find those again--some veggies are better off unsealed.I've had both well packed and poorly packed shipments. I have also received a couple with the labels SO WELL ATTACHED attached I want to scream. Guess someone didn't realize I didn't buy this product planning to keep the label on it for visual impact! 🙄I added some shots for those that of you that are asking about sizes. I hope it helps!Original Review:I’ve had many of these and ordered more because I love the product. Two sellers in my order this time and this one was not packed properly (or maybe it was amazon). It arrived broken while the other 3 pieces I ordered from the 2nd seller were packed properly. Again, love the product but packing/shipping sucked.

I'm a baker, and I have a wonderful pantry for all of my baking products - nuts, flours, sugars, coconut, chocolate chips, dried fruit, etc. I have a bunch of these. These items are transparent on all sides, so I can easily see the contents and how much I have from above or the sides. The seals are tight, yet they are simple to open and close. The entire top opens, so there is ample room for scoops or measuring cups and spoons. The size fits nicely in my pantry drawers - they are just under the height of the drawers, so they use available space efficiently.

I actually purchased this to hold my EarthBreeze laundry sheets. They fit perfectly in here. Yay!

Does the job on airtight but takes two hands to open because the seal is really tight. Sturdy, easy to wash.

I was looking for something that I could open with one had (had an injury).This requires two hands b/c the seal is so tight. I have an issue keeping fresh tomatoes and mushrooms from spoiling in the fridge. This definitely extended the time and preserved them easily a week longer.. maybe even two. One downfall.. these are not dishwasher safe. I do like that the lid is attached. I have two of these and love them!

This works great to hold our dogs treats. Just the right size. I'll be getting another for our lake cabin.
