These pins work beautifully! I didn't quite understand the operation of the key until I received them. They are very easy to use and hold the comforter in place. I used four across the top of my king size comforter. I bought a pack of 16 and would like to get another key. I hope this is possible.

I originally tried a different magnetic fastener which was "okay" but not great. I then decided to try the clear pinion pins and what a difference! They really hold the comforter in the duvet and are very easy to use. I did have to "play" with a couple of them to get the cover off the pin, but it was no big deal. If I ever decide to get a duvet cover for our guest room, I will definitely purchase more of these pinion pins! If you are considering the product, go ahead and purchase it. You will not be disappointed!

Works great! I tried putting the clips evenly over the duvet in rows, thinking that would be the best, not needed! I just put them around the outside and it hasn’t moved in months, and I put in the washer and dryer just fine. Be careful clipping on, you’re gonna poke yourself and it hurts!

I was amazed to find out that a product like this existed! Our duvet is constantly swimming around the duvet cover, and that's even WITH a duvet cover with ties -- let alone all the adorable duvet covers we haven't been able to buy over the years because they don't have any means of securing the duvet. So in terms of utility, big thumbs-up to this product: they work well and really do what they promise. The pins are pretty sharp ... not super hard to get through the cover and the duvet ... and the magnetic key is great. I can get away with just four pins on my queen size duvet cover, though a lot of people seem to use eight. My only little quibbles are, first, that the pins are honestly pretty ugly. The clear button-shaped tops are fine, but the bottoms look like those anti-shoplifting tags they put through clothes in department stores. Also, if your duvet gets wadded up and you lie on top of one, it's not super comfortable. But two small downsides for a product that is otherwise a total game-changer.

The Magnetic Pinning arrive 5 hours ago and I couldn't wait to put them on to get my Electric Comforter and my regular comforter together to make me use them as two to one at night so that I don't have to get up to make two layers in good order again one to two times at night. Whoever came up with this is a genius! This is exactly what I was looking for! I have a favorite duvet cover that I can’t sleep without, when I wash it it’s first thing in the morning because it needs to be dry and ironed before bedtime. I’m a 50 year old Linus I guess. Problem with the duvet is the buttons have loosened that not even sewing them tighter seems to make any difference for long. Enter this little gadget! Wow is all I can say - the first picture is all the stuff, the magnet, a closed clip and an open one. The second picture is the underside and the third is the top - took all of 10 minutes once I figured out where I wanted to place them across. I didn’t even stab myself with the pin side - major accomplishment. The magnet is really strong and I don’t even feel them during the night. Just love it!!!

I ordered the 16 set of pinion pins, which come packaged in two sets of eight. PERFECT! My idea was to send a packet to my daughter to use on her comforter. However, I ended up RETURNING these because the magnetic "tool" that is crucial to fastening the pins and later on removing them was deliberately NOT included in the second packet. REALLY??? How much more could it cost to have this tool in each packet????Nevertheless, I think this a very good product, having tried them on one of my duvets, but am disappointed that I have wasted time to have to return these and now reorder two separate 8-set of pins so that there can be a tool in EACH packet.

This was my first use of a duvet and I was struggling with keeping it from folding away from the edges. These pins solved this issue perfectly. The magnetic process is an excellent resource and the concern of them coming undone is resolved. You get a sufficient number of pins to cover the needs for a king size comforter.

They work perfectly. No issues at all.

Big warning to everyone considering these pins.3 out of 8 pins that I used came off after a month's use. Given how sharp the pins are, any pin came off can cause a fatal injury especially to your children.Luckily my kid wasn't injured as I spotted the pins came off.DO NOT BUY, unless you want to be stabbed by the sharp pins. NO JOKE.
