Q: How sturdy are the wheels? Can they handle city streets and uneven sidewalks?

I think so... wheels are very sturdy.

Q: What are the dimensions of the basket?

the basket is approximately 16 inches across and 18 inches long.

Q: Can you buy extra Hamper parts and use the same dolly for both?

Cost wise, it is not worth just ordering the bag. Not mu cheaper than whole unit

Q: How tall is the trolly standing up?

For some reason can't paste photo in response but I added photo to my review. Didn't have measuring stick but placed 11" notebook in front of the laundry dolly and regular trolley dolly in my hotel and added photo to my review. I've had several housekeepers ask me this year where they can get them. The larger one is great for walking to grocery store.
