BOOSTane Marine Octane Booster (1 Pack)

Decided to try this Marine formula in my 8v 4cyl that's got a tune. Something went awry with the knock sensing circuitry, apparently, and no timing being pulled. Timing is not static, but maxes out at 35 degrees. I'm able to get 91 octane non-ethanol pump gas locally but my engine will ping on it with 10:1 compression. I can also get leaded race gas but I have to travel for it. If I use Klotz higher octane booster I need to use 2, and I feel that product is more of an oxygenator. That said I mixed in a bottle of the Klotz to 1/2 can of this Marine formula on a full tank 12 gallons of the pump 91 non-ethanol. Factoring in travel time the cost is roughly the same as the race gas, but results are BETTER with this mix I e come up with. Punchy, snappy, clear hi-revs, and definitely no knock, ping, detonation, or damaging engine noise of any kind. I think BOOSTane is really on to something with their MMT technology. Oh yeh and tailpipes out of the muffler are much cleaner also. I change spark plugs routinely and will be doing ring soaks with MMO the night before 3k oil changes. Not concerned about fouling or deposits, hasn't been my experience so far. I will keep running this BOOSTane/Klotz mix and adjust for the weather and temperature. I'm Sold !

Product is the perfect, easy to use octane booster for water toys. I use it for my supercharged jetski. And the extra stabilizers and other perks are top notch. It's oddly hard to find simple octane booster products specifically for marine applications.The product loses one star because their app is only available on iOS and not Android. And other octane mix apps are difficult to use

Great octane boost with a little extra top cylinder lubricant. Run this to boost octane back in my home made ethanol free when I remove the ethanol for air cooled applications.

I add this to the fuel in my Yamaha jet boat, 1/3 of the bottle with full tank of gas and what a difference in top speed, acceleration and sound when at idle (no more knocking).

Most of the octane boosters on the market are nothing but snake oil as I have tried the majority of brands throughout the years and none of them have even came close to making a noticeable difference. That is until I decided to give this one a try. Since trying most brands of octane booster I now drive a Ford Superduty diesel but I’ve been trying to find a octane booster for my bass boat since all non ethanol fuel where I live is only 87 octane and my mercury 200 outboard requires 93 octane. I don’t like to put fuel with ethanol due to the issues that ethanol causes since my outboard was manufactured before they started putting ethanol in the fuel in the US.When I was using the low octane non ethanol fuel in my bass boat the motor never wanted to run as it should. It would always idle super slow to where it was just barely running until it died shortly afterwards. Every time I started the motor it would barely idle up and when I would put the boat in gear it would die and I would have to start it anywhere from 4-10 times before I could putIt into gear and actually start moving without it dying and once I got going it would run fine until I stopped again and put it in neutral.Well that has changed in a major way since using this product. I mix just enough in both fuel tanks on my boat to get my fuel to equal 93 octane and it actually came out to costing less money per gallon than the price of premium unleaded 93 octane fuel with ethanol. Boostane has an app that will calculate how much product is needed in the tank to achieve the final octane number you’re trying to achieve. It also shows you how much per gallon your fuel will cost plus it adds the cost of this product into that price per gallon. My bass boat now starts a heck of a lot better, it’s like night and day. It starts and stays revved up to correct amount of rpms it should be idling at and it NVER, and I mean NEVER, dies on me anymore when I put it in gear for the hole shot..Also, it doesn’t require very much product to get me to 93 octane from the 87 octane non ethanol pump gas. I use less than one bottle and my bass boat has two 20 gallon fuel tanks. I won’t ever run my bass boat without this product in it because it’s aggravating to say the least when the motor doesn’t want to run correctly. I’m so glad I took a chance and ordered this product. I was very very skeptical because everything that I’ve used in the past was pure snake oil and there was absolutely not a single difference in the way my outboard ran with all those others so I thought this was going to have the same outcome with a higher price tag. Man was I wrong and I’m so glad I was. Customer for LIFE!
