Solves the problem of separate USB serials ports coming up with different addresses each time - nice to use. Worked fine right out of the box and seems very reliable.

Work with windows 11 no drivers required to bring modbus back to life. Works well with vmware as well with windows xp.

Plug & Pray? Not at all in my W10 puter. As soon as I loaded the drivers, it popped up in Device Manager as two working comm ports.

Worth the cost
Love the product, plugged into the laptop to console into Cisco devices and instantly worked out of the box, no drivers require installing.

Worked straight off, very reliable.
Replaced a series of similar products all of which were unreliable. Not this one, however - it has worked day and night since installation. Bit expensive, but worth it for lack of hassle.
