I was skeptical to buy this but to my surprise the vest itself helps tremendously. I wouldn’t say I have an overly anxious dog but she hates fireworks and long car rides. In both instances when she has the vest on, she is able to settle. In my car , rather than pacing back-and-forth on the seat she just lays down and it’s 100% the best. During fireworks she still is scared but the vest definitely helps calm her and keep her from pacing and is able to relax. The music on the other hand as soon as I turned it on and put it in the vest she freaked out. I guess the random music coming from the vest was not the brightest idea on my part as well as I didn’t notice a difference using the essential oils but the best overall was great. I wish it had one big Velcro attachment rather than three strips but other than that it’s perfect

Still not sure this is what my dog needs. The anxiety this time of year is unreal for him. He is in the vest and I am using the lavender scent right now. I have never in all my years of having animals ever had one that is this afraid of any loud noises. We'll keep using the vest and see if he just needs more time to adjust to it.The vest is easy to put on and all the bases are covered. So it's a good product just not sure it's going to work for him at this point, sad to say.thank you,Helen

Normally I do reviews with a one or two lines but I thought I should add more to this one because of results of using this dog anxiety vest. Background : I have a 4 yo corgi/jack Russell mix that I rescued at 6 mo. He was abused but we worked past that and he is a Velcro dog. We live next to a park and last night was firework night for the city.I had to get a larger size because he has filled out more, I ordered and scoffed at the idea of the music box. I was WRONG, that was an excellent idea, it appears that the music along with the vest and scent helped tremendously. In the past when I just used a vest , it would take a couple of hours that night to get him back to his rambunctious self. Last night he was fine about an hour after the fireworks , no trembling, shaking or crying. Today is is just fine.So 5 stars, it really worked!

I was incredibly skeptical when I saw this but based on the reviews I went ahead and decided to give it a try. Best money I have ever spent! My dog was able to get through not only thunder but fireworks without shaking or cowering. He usually shakes violently and runs and hides. With this on and the music playing he sat comfortably on the couch in between my husband and myself and went to sleep. No shaking, no freaking out. I definitely recommend this product!!

I believe this shirt helped my dog calmer than if she wasn’t wearing one! And I liked the scent pods. I however didn’t care for the repeating lullaby that is programmed into the music player. Try at least three tunes at the minimum. So I shut it off and turned on some classical music.

We used it for the 4th of July and it worked well in addition to my holding our dog for only a little while as the Shirt and music kicked it. The music is a lullaby and can run for hours if necessary. Our dog Teddy still prefers to have the Shirt on w/ fireworks still going off days later.

While I find the music and fragrance a bit corny my nervous nellie of a collie seems to get this "hug" He still is unhappy with the sounds and sight of great weather events but this has really put a hold on it. I feel so much better for him.

Arrived on July 3rd. As soon as I put it on my dog (who is a psycho during thunder and fireworks) she calmed down. Add the music and she went to sleep. On July 4th I added the scent. She slept in her hiding spot all night without any issues. I'm sorry I didn't purchase this sooner.

El chaleco si le ha funcionado, está más tranquilo…

Tengo una border collie muy nerviosa, la pirotecnia y la lluvia la ponen extremadamente nerviosa.El chaleco le ayudo bastante, está notoriamente más tranquila, con la caja musical no pone tanta atención en los ruidos que la alteran y el aroma la relajó muchísimo, lo recomiendo. Es claro que no hará milagros pero es de gran ayuda, es un excelente material y aprieta muy bien su estómago para sentirse segura.
