Amazing Toothpaste/Whitens/Relieves Pain And Bleeding
My gums were hurting so much I couldn't stop thinking about it. Tried so many mouthwashes and toothpastes to no avail. Came close with the british version of listerine but then it stopped working for me.I searched Amazon so many times and I'm sure I saw this toothpaste before but just always made a different choice. I wish I hadn't. Within 3 days the pain was subsiding, my gums bleeding less when flossing. Now after a week they don't bleed at all. Here is what I'm doing now that works for me.3 or 4 times a dayRinse with Plax (I may stop this step soon because its full of chemicals)Brush teeth, tongue and roof of mouth with this toothpasteWithout rinsing, I floss my teeth with Collins perio floss I only do this step twice a day)Rinse toothbrush and mouth with water and spit outThen I do the magical thing,,,I either put more paste on the brush and just brush gently the front of my teeth and gums, or I use my finger and apply fresh paste and rub it onto the fronts of teeth and gums.I then leave it on and just spit the excess after a few minutes.I use mouthwash a couple times a day but not right after brushing because I want to leave the aloe paste on my gums. Sometimes I use mouthwash right when I wake up first thing and then later on at some point.I'm going to switch over to this brands mouthwash next, but noticed it has grapefruit seed extract and that ingredient always turns my teeth yellow after a few days. If it happens with this brand I'll just stick to the paste cause it doesn't contain that ingredient. My teeth have actually become a couple shades whiter after using this stuff for a week and I didn't expect that. The 2 tone look on my bottom teeth is also evening out and I don;t know how that;s even possible but I'm very happy about it.I've never been this happy about a toothpaste before. I mean, I've tried dozens if not 100. Nothing has worked like this before. My teeth feel very smooth and clean, Sparkling white. gums calm. . It's amazing.I read a couple reviews saying that they didn't notice whitening and a couple mentioned yellowing. I'd guess they are also using the mouthwash and have the same reaction that I do to grapefruit seed extract? That ingredient contains something similar to clorehexidine that's in zero alcohol listerine and a lot of gum care mouth rinses and those turn my teeth yellow too. As does stanous flouride. But again, the toothpaste is free of that ingredientI should mention the flavour as well because I really love it. It is called mint twist but it leans more towards mild cinnamon and the taste is the best I've ever had in a toothpaste. This is definitely something I will be buying over and over again and stocking up on for when I go back to Ireland.

Wanted something that didn't dry out my mouth!
What I bought it for, it accomplishes brilliantly! I'm older and my gumline is receding, and my mouth is horrifically dry at night which can't be helping. So I sought out something to use AFTER my fluoride toothpaste. It does not contain fluoride, but incredibly weak teeth run in my family. Alas, most fluoride is sodium based so I wanted something that wouldn't dry out my mouth.Taste: definitely wildly different than mint toothpaste. I wish it tasted less like clove, but that's just personal taste.I do notice my mouth instantly salivating after brushing, so the taste works! I've been using it for about two weeks and my mouth doesn't feel like the Sahara at all when I wake up, so it's likely helping with the gum recession, as well as having excellent herbs for periodontal issues.I also got the mouthwash, which I'll review separately. I recommend both.If you need fluoride though, it has none. If you seek to avoid fluoride, you are in luck!

Great taste
I love this natural toothpaste but the tube is too small for the cost. If you brush your teeth after each meal like I do, it doesn't last long enough before you have to replace it. Overall this is one brand that I truly like over other natural toothpaste which has a bad after taste. I haven't noticed the whitening but the effect on my teeth feel fresh and clean.

Does the job and a pleasant taste
I was trying to find a solution a little more natural. It cleans as it is supposed to and has a good taste, not super refreshing but I have to consider this has less chemicals. Even my 8 years old son likes it! Too soon to say if it whitens, not really trusting on that.

my absolute favorite
Mainstream popular brands on the shelves always irritate my gums. When I last used colgate it was the worst experience yet, as I ended up having raw, bleeding gums. Finally realized I shouldn't use the same toothpaste that also works great for polishing my silver jewelry. (Try it! It's great on all rings and necklaces! So why do we also think it's okay to use on our teeth then?)ANYWAYS, I immediately stopped and looked for an alternative without detergents. This paste works so well, and has a fine taste. Really happy with this!

Good & Bad
I like that it doesn't have calcium, and sls but I don't like that it has several sugar alcohols in it, xylitol, sorbitol and steviosides. Stevia is often enhanced with erythritol. And now with scientific studies saying these sugar alcohols increase clotting, stroke & heart attack risk I really want toothpaste manufacturers to stop putting sugar alcohols in tooth care products.
