I have gone through so many scales in my bakery, finally I got the right one! This scale is perfect in size for my mixing bowls, and there are no crevices between buttons for flour/ sugar to get into. I like how the scale is separate from the buttons (not all the same level as my other ones) this way the numbers are never covered by the bowl.

Wanted a more commercial one for doing sourdough vs the cheap scales that break easily. This one is exactly what I wanted. Budget friendly but more commercial! The functions are great.

I bought this scale to use at my horse barn to measure chopped hay for my sick horse, he had to have "so much" hay and no more, so this became very important to me, the correct weight of hay. I have abused this scale, it has dust and dirt all over it, I tossed it in a lidded trash can after every use, and I weigh many bags of hay on it. It works like a charm every time. My thought is, if you take care of it, it was last forever!!

VK-2D First after you receive this unit the platform rotates off counter clockwise. The scale is not tiny and thin. It is NOT dishwasher safe. I use this scale in my commercial kitchen. We use it for portion control. It gets about 1- 2 hours a day of use . Nice large digits that are back lit when not at zero weight. This unit can be set to not shut shut off automatically in the middle of using it or you can set it to auto off at 1,5,10 minuets. The buttons are tight, have a definitive click, and the scale will not change the unit of measure on its own. You can wipe it down with a damp cloth and your settings will not change on their own either. It uses large D cell batteries The batteries that came with lasted 2 MONTHS. I just changed them that is why I'm writing this review. By far this is best portable scale I have used. Skip the $15-25 scales with those AAA batteries that you are replacing every other week.

Awesome price, awesome shipping

I purchased this scale for my business. I needed a scale that was more precise and this scale does that well. It is easy to use, ready to clean and seems durable. There was no certificate of certification. I am hopeful that the local rep for Dept. of Weights and Measures is able to certify it for commercial use. The one thing that ruins the experience is that the scale will not hold a tare value. I am basically resetting it for each pass. This might be a deal breaker.

I purchased a food scale from walmart that left me questioning if it was correct , so much so I purchased this one because something was wrong with the other one but i didn't have anything to compare it too. so i bought this one.. IT IS ACCURATE ENOUGH ! I have been weighing everything I can get my hands on to check it to make sure it is correct. im just so mad and disapointed that I wasted 8 weeks of my life doing what i thought was right with my calorie/nutrition intake only to have my old scale to be so out of wack the entire time. So here I go again welcome to day 1 of my diet plan.
