Moen M CORE Mixing Shower Valve with 2 or 3 Function Integrated Transfer, CC/IPS Connections and Stops, U232CIS

We wanted to replace our shower faucet and needed to replace the mixing valve too. This valve works great. Our new shower has much better water pressure thanks to the great new valve.

Installed it myself two years ago and have not had any issues at all.

The valve works great and functions as described. Time will tell how it holds up. It has been about eight months so far. The plumber had no problem with installation.

Excellent valve, Moen always is.

Ease of install was good, works as advertised. Don't forget to remove cartridge if sweating connection.

Just be sure to order the correct trim for this core product. Referred to Moen for trim.

I was shipped a valve assembly that was dented like it was dropped on the top outlet. Not a big deal for me as I am a metal smith and was planning on soldering in pex inserts (which I did). It was irksome at the price of the unit and most would not be able to do this. Next problem was that the plastic plaster ground face was not included (probably because the person that dropped the unit returned the unit without it). At this point I have soldered the unit and have it plumbed in so I am forced to run with it. No time for a new unit to arrive. Luckily I have installed enough of these, and have a facility that I can make work arounds. If you do not then check your pieces and the instructions to make sure you have all the parts in good condition. The unit looked like new except for the dent at the rim of the top connnector.
