While I’m not into building my muscle mass, I do some weight work just to keep myself trim and healthy, so this book containing daily meal plans whether you want 1500 calories all the way to 4000 calories. One thing I liked about this book by Jason Farley, a fitness expert and body builder himself is his Top Commandments of Good Nutrition, which includes such great tips like having protein with every meal, include green on every plate, that fat is not evil and don’t rely on supplements but eat real food, to name a few of Farley’s commandments.The recipe part of the book includes Breakfast, which Farley agrees is the most important meal, Entrees, Snacks, Desserts, Fish & Seafood, Paleo recipes and Shakes to name a few. Cottage Cheesecake looks good which includes fat free cottage cheese as an ingredient. There are recipes on Protein Packed Latte, Perfect Hummus, Kale Dip and one called Brawny Veg Lasagna in the Vegetarian section, which I appreciate since I’m a vegetarian.

Very informative book!
This book is very informative book and every recipe is easy to follow and easy to reare. Each recipe also includes the exact amount of calories and the amount of rotein, carbohydrates and fast you will get from each serving. The more higher calorie meals will be better suited to someone looking to build muscle and the lower calorie meals will be better suited to someone looking to burn fat.

The best for me
I am not sure I can still have some muscles, as I am not so young any more, but I can say that these recipes written here can be quite useful for my heath and body. This book is also about fat burning, which is too important and useful for me. In my age, I should not face obesity. There also a good surprise in here – you can find many new and delicious recipes. I would highly recommend this book to other readers, who want to maintain a healthy body.

A great resource for building mass.
Earlier this year the hubs got it into his head that he was going to start lifting weights. He tore apart our gaming/reading room and turned it into a pretty decent little home gym. He started taking a ton of supplements and he was doing really great until an injury sidelined him. But the one thing I was struggling with, as the primary meal maker in our family, was how awful his diet was. Instead of going for a clean eating approach where he focused on good nutrition and fuel for working out, he was eating the same thing over and over and cutting calories. What's a loving spouse to do? Find a better option!Enter this book.I was extremely impressed with the author's attention to detail and meticulous focus on providing the body with whole foods. Most of the recipes within were simple and rich in the building blocks needed for muscle building nutrition but also, making sure you have stamina. Sadly, the author used stock photos of the foods that, while beautiful and very appealing, were not the actual foods. I felt it was very deceptive in its visual presentation. There were also a lot of typos and some grammar issues that—while not a big issue—may be a bit annoying for some. It's also notable that the measurements are not in the US system but if you're a pretty confident cook you can easily adapt them with a conversion chart.Overall, a great resource for folks focusing on building muscle mass through good nutritious (and delicious) foods rather than supplements.Notes: Received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
