These lights are great. They light up my kitchen window so nicely. I love the twinkling. The length is great too because so many batter lights aren't very long but these go all the way around my window, which is pretty big. They look fantastic. I have gotten several compliments on them and had people ask me where I got them. These will definitely be a permanent part of my christmas decorations.

I was very disappointed with this product for many reasons. 1. The box to control the light setting is very cheaply made and will not stay on the setting that you put it on. You may choose a relaxing steady light, and suddenly it’s doing a strobe-like effect! 2. After using them for about a week, several strands are no longer light. 3. The snowflakes at the end of the strands just slip on and are not secure. They very easily fall off. 4. It comes quite tangled and took a lot of time and patience to untangle them to hang. 5. It also is not very convenient. There is no timer.In my opinion, this is very poorly made. Save your money!

OVERALL: These snowflake curtain lights are perfect for what I wanted. They do look better close up where you can appreciate the glow. From farther away or outside it’s less impressive. Also, they noticeably dimmed over the course of several weeks, so unless you light them sparingly, you will likely only get one season of use.PROS:- Initial brightness is terrific. Wires are very supple and very easy to handle (once untangled). They look beautiful where I put them.CONS:- While the wires feel well-made, the housing of the control box feels very cheap. One of them even has a suspicious rattle inside, but it works so…- Lights are tangled right out of the package (not docking stars for this, as I’m not sure how you could package curtain lights without risk of tangling - just giving you a heads up).- The other light settings (“flicker”, “wave”, etc.) are awful. The flicker ones are so fast they could induce a seizure, and the “wave” ones are so slow you start to yawn watching it. I would have liked a gentle “twinkle” but oh well. The lights on steady are still pretty.- The review prompted me to mention the remote and timer functions. There weren’t any. Just the control box with a button.- Updated this review to add: while they were initially quite bright, over the course of the season they dimmed noticeably. I bought three sets of lights, but only hung two. At the end of the season, you can see the used lights are significantly dimmer than the unused lights.

My friend received it as a gift and she just loved it. It was perfect where she put it and did not have to worry about plugging into electric outlet.

Bought 2 sets and strung them on both sides of picture window valance to be visible inside and out. Very pretty and delicate. About an inch wide, a blueish white light, very pleasant, not glaring.
