This lovely weighted lap blanket ticks all the right boxes for us.It measures 21" X 24" and weighs 5 pounds. We chose the lovely constellation pattern and the back is grey with little bumps that are there own sensory item as well - it feels nice to run your hand/fingers over them.The weight is well distributed and washes easily.We use this in the house as well as in the car and would happily get one for everyone in the house! The weight of it doesn't interfere with doing things or taking it with you - feels great across my shoulders as well.I highly recommend this weighted lap blanket =]

I have restless leg syndrome and a weighted blanket helps relieve my symptoms. I sometimes sleep in a call room in the hospital for work and have trouble sleeping due to my symptoms. I was looking for a small weighted blanket to put in my backpack to use for this situation. This product is perfect for this use. It is also compact enough to travel with compared to a full-size weighted blanket. The blanket is soft and the weight is well-distributed. The constellation pattern is a nice added touch. My son has a hard time sitting still when doing things he doesn't enjoy- like reading or sitting through a long church sermon. We got this for him to use during those times, and it has made a world of difference. He loves it, and actually takes it everywhere! Win-win because its heavy, so he is constantly getting the extra sensory work of carrying something heavy around to meet his high sensory threshold. It seems very well made. Living in a warm climate, a full size weighted blanket is just too much. I was shocked when I placed it over me. Soft, gentle and calming. I've given several as gifts and received rave reviews.Washes easily. Small enough to dry in the fresh air.

I was expecting a lap pad that worked for smaller children, but this pad is bigger than that. Would be a more of a small weighted blanket for a small child. However the fabric is super soft and very cute!

I bought this for my son who is Autistic and struggle with Sensory disorder. This helps him calm down when he is feeling overwhelmed and sensory overload. Great for days with a lot of activity a perfect size for him to bring to school and use whenever needed!

We have a few weighted blankets. This lap blanket is amazing, bought two now one for home one for school. No issues at all. Perfect weight for children. Beautiful design.

I have a full size weighted blanket but I find it just too awkward to use. It helps me immensely but often slides off while I sleep. This one is a lot easier to reposition but works just as well.
