I was needing ant killer and this powder salt was absolute so it wouldn't clog my insect sprayer. The hoses didn't get messed up and I used it for about two weeks and no issues.If you want to kill ants mix with Dawn and Vinegar and Salt and bam it'll take care of them. Because Diamond Salt stopped making its table salt in 20-something ounce canisters, I didn't know what I was missing. I grew up on Diamond, "The Finer Salt," (the iodized version), but I didn't know one salt from another -- except when I'd occasionally find big chunky crystals in salt shakers at restaurants. Well, I tried the salt in the blue canister, only to find out it was the same stuff as the chunky stuff in restaurants; it has giant-sized crystals that bounce off food and, surprisingly, bitter-tasting.This salt is fine, like Diamond Crystal's salt. It doesn't come iodized, but the makers are looking into that. It has a clean, pure taste, and not overwhelming. The other brand's big crystals give a big punch in their saltiness, which you can't moderate by adding less salt. The finer salt allows you to add just a touch of saltiness and even less.The salt comes in a resealable bag.

I was looking for a salt that's fine ground like the salt they put on fries at McDonalds because of how it sticks to food. This salt does sick to food like that, vs granular salt that just bounces off French fries. It seems a bit finer than the McDonalds salt, but it does the trick. I do recommend this product.

I had NEVER heard of this before, but thanks to Chef Parisi he explained the great attributes of flour salt. The only salt I use now in my salt cellar/tub! I LOVE this awesome salt variety!

Though a little expensive, this salt works as advertised. If you roast pecans or any kind of snack nuts, this is the salt for you. Doesn't bounce off the nuts like regular salt. This is "TRULY" a powdered salt and will stick to whatever you apply it to. Works great on french fries just taken out of the cooking oil. Really sticks to the hot fries. With regular salt, it bounces off and salt is wasted. Recommend and would purchase again.
