Does this product ship from within the US?

I can’t remember. Look at the sold from ships from area. I think they shipped from Amazon.

how can these be disinfected?

I surface wash mine with warm, soapy water and let them air dry. They are for personal use only, so I do not feel the need to disinfect them further. You could probably use a disinfectant spray after you clean them. I would not recommend submerging (soaking) them; this could cause the buffing surfaces to peel off, the foam to break down, and possibly cause mold/mildew if not dried thoroughly.

What is the size of these files?

They are pretty small. I think they were close to 2.5” when I measured them.

Does this make your shine like gel polish has been applied

My nails shine but definitely not like gel polish.
