The primary reason I bought this was because I walk my dog on a walking path that coyotes sometimes are seen exploring. I figured the loud alarm will scare them off (I also carry pepper spray on my walks).Thankfully I have not seen a coyote so I cannot confirm if it does scare them or not. However, my dog hates the loud alarm, so I’m confident it’ll scare them coyotes!I carry the 2nd alarm in my purse for personal safety. Again, thankfully I have not been forced to used it yet.The alarm is VERY loud, so I am sure it will draw attention! I also like that it’s easy to “activate” & “deactivate”.My only grip is the cost ($35 for 2)…but it’s well made so it’ll last a long time.

Purchased for myself and granddaughters. Alarm is very light weight and fits in palm of hand. Tried alarm and WOW I jumped it was so loud. The pin portion snuggly fits into base so it won’t accidentally fall out; however easy to remove should alarm be needed. Comes with a clip to attach to purse, wristband or I bought lanyard to use when walking. Just adds a little peace of mind ~ I pray they are never needed.

I do not get paid to review. I bought this for my daughter and she immediately started using it! i also bought one for myself This particular brand is TSA approved! This can be used for saftey in a lot of situations. Originally bought for my daughter to take with her when walking in unfamiliar surroundings when traveling. She recently brought it to Ireland and Switzerland, and she told me it made her feel safer!When at home in USA, she clips on for jogging and general shopping. It can clip on a belt loop, purse, backpack..really anywhere. Besides TSA approved, it has a strobe light and very loud alarm. Simply pull apart if being threatened or attacked etc Hi,I have. For myself, I have quite a few falls, so now I carry with me when walking my property. I will be able to draw attention to my situation if I cannot get up. If dim lighting (at dusk) the strobe would also draw attention besides loud alarm! These are great Christmas stocking stuffers! Hiking in woods would be another great time to have one!Male, Female Young and Old. All could benefit

Its just as advertise! Its loud and compact. I love that i can recharge it and its convenient to carry around. The pin is it a bit hard to put back in when the sounds blaring and youre frantically trying to put it back in but overall a great product!

These are pretty loud and should draw attention but not as loud as I anticipated. There's a small little opening that lets the sound out and if anything is over it, the sound is greatly diminished. Even uncovered, it's loud but I want ear piercing loud. They're easy enough and small enough to keep on a keyring so that's a plus. They are also easy to pull apart to make the alarm sound (without being so easy they'll accidentally go off). I'm kind of on the fence if I should keep these or keep searching.

I work in the travel industry and find myself in different cities sometimes each week. This device brings not only myself comfort but my family too. I try to be aware of my surroundings but this device gives me more security and a feeling of safety. I bought two of them one that I keep with my keys the other I always have in my luggage so if I decide to go out I carry it with me and attach it to my purse or belt loop. This is a great gift for someone going off to college, or getting their first car attach it to their keyring. Protect yourselves and protect your loved ones!!!
