I like to watch Rachel’s Rocks Canada on YouTube as she narrates through the process of making bright and interesting paintings on rocks. She does a lot of dot painting and mandalas, and I wanted to give it a try. This kit had all the tools I needed for dotting, and everything worked just fine. I made some real nice little paintings with it. It’s easier to draw dots on the irregular surface of a rock than it is to try to paint a neat line, so It really came in handy for lettering with this. I like the kit, and I would buy it again or give it as a gift to someone.

The tools are well-made and comfortable to hold, which makes the painting process smooth and enjoyable. The tips are precise and durable, allowing for clean and consistent dot placement. I also appreciate the included instruction booklet, which is great for beginners and helps guide you through different techniques and patterns. I just received this kit today, and I'm really impressed with the quality of the included items. You really do get everything you need (except paint) to make dot mandala art. The tools are all of the quality you'd find if you bought each of them separately, really solidly made. Even the cardboard rounds are really thick and sturdy.The included easel is cheap and kind of useless. I'm not sure why this is even included. Perhaps for display purposes? And the paint brushes are also cheap (although by far not the worst I've seen), but I expected that based on the pictures. I ended up keeping them anyway, because sometimes you need a cheapo paintbrush. They were actually a bit better than I expected, to be honest.But the reason I bought the kit was to get the dotting tools, and you really do get some great quality tools for very little money. Honestly, couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Where do I begin?I have always wanted to try this art and told myself one day. Not sure what tools to get or other supplies. I saw this kit and ordered it. I honestly ordered mostly for the stencils as I figured I could use them in my other art projects. I opened the box and WOW!In this box, you get 22 plastic stencils, a variety of paint brushes, 5 small tip dotting tools, 4 double-sided ball tools, 7 flat-end acrylic rods, and a sheet of rhinestones. 3 black cardboard circles to practice, a paint pallet to put your paints for dipping, a white pencil and eraser, a sponge, a small easel, 5 soft silicone tip tools ( not sure what they are for but I will use them for my clay) and a zippered bag to keep your supplies in. This kit seems to have everything but the paint! Even the box is so pretty with a mandala design on the front. This would make a great gift.

I bought it as a Christmas present for a 7 year old and she loved it. I dot myself and was impressed with this kit. Perfect for a beginner. For a moment I was tempted to keep it for myself and order another one.
