Best moisturizer out there
I’ve used many, many facial moisturizers that promise results but honestly, absolutely nothing compares to this product. Within a few days, my skin looks more moisturized, feels smoother and looks healthier. My eczema disappears with use. I love that it’s ideal for sensitive skin, has a pleasant light smell and does not contain ingredients that will irritate, make me sun sensitive or dry out my eyes or irritate contact lenses. In my opinion, you get what you pay for and the quality of this product and small amount you need for results make it worth the splurge. Their eye cream is also amazing, but if you can only afford one product, this is it.

A beautiful moisturizer for all seasons, works wonders.
My wife has been using Loccitane products for almost two decades now. This is her review...... Amazing moisturizer for every season, you don't need any other moisturizer if you use this regularly. It works so well in all the four seasons. Very effective, I have not found a reason to move away from this since the first time I used it. It's light, non greasy, fragrance is so fresh every single time & has a very luxurious feel to it. Skin always feels soft n moisturized. Highly, highly recommend this for anyone in their 20's to 70's, 80's or even 90's.

Worth the money
This cream lives up the hype. I have been using loccitane for years now. Recommend by my esthetician. Leaves my skin soft, moisturized, and lightweight. The quality is excellent and effective for dry skin, and think lines. Small amount goes a long way as well.

Love this face cream (Except for the price!)
I used to buy this face cream a long time ago when I lived near a l'Occitane store. It's been awhile since I used it though and I forgot how much I liked it. It smells lovely (like the Immortelle essential oil), and the texture is thick, rich & creamy. It does a very good job at moisturizing; other similar moisturizers didn't touch the extreme dryness I have from the desert climate here. This cream isn't greasy however, and soaks in quickly, but lasts all night. Other moisturizers left my skin dry again in the morning after applying it at night. The only drawback is the price; it's almost doubled since I used to buy it years ago. However, the jar is relatively large, and used sparingly will last me a good 2-3 months.

So here's the good and the less-good...
This product was my first foray both into this brand, and into this price point for skincare. I expected perfection and landed on 'acceptably decent'. Let's start with the scent. It doesn't bother me, but the scent is strong and smells sort of like potpourri that ladies would put in a bowl on the top of the toilet tank in their powder rooms in the early 90s. It really isn't a bad smell IMO, and it does dissipate. But I could definitely see some not liking it.The whole point of this product is to moisturize. When I used it the first couple of times, I was really disappointed; the moisture seemed to sit on top of my skin, rather than penetrate. Like, I still had the sensation of feeling dry even though I just slathered this over my face (I'm heavy-handed with product applications, so this lack of absorption is not due to amount used). To rectify this situation, I took my bottle of organic jojoba oil and dropped one or two TINY drops on my palm. I can't think of an analogy for how tiny the drops are, but I did not even depress the pump fully. It was more like a TAPTAP. Quick quick. Teeny tiny. Then, like an artist mixing paint on their palette, I took a healthy scoop from the L'Occitane jar, pressed it into the jojoba, and mixed them with my opposite finger. This mixture is sufficient enough to promote deep absorption. Jojoba is an excellent penetrating moisturizing oil, as jojoba is very similar to natural skin oil. The jojoba provides the inward 'pull' that the cream itself lacks. I am satisfied with L'Occitane's performance as a moisturizer only after this extra step is taken.Despite the need to amend an expensive cream to make it do its job, I will probably purchase this again. I think it has a respectable place as a moisturizer after treatments with actives.
