I recently received this item, so I'm still evaluating -- but, so far so good. It's exactly as it's described and I LOVE that it doesn't shed. The color is slightly lighter than I had hoped, but it'll work out wonderfully for my little media room.

we put this in our bedroom because im ripping out all the carpets and it gets cold af. Super nice rug. Soft, good size, easy to vacuum. Its a solid rug in my opinion and ill probably order another one for the guest room once i tear out that carpet this summer if theyre in stock in a different color. I havent noticed any staining from my cats hairballs -hazard of 4 cats lol- so i cant speak on that to much but so far so good!

I did a fair bit of research before I ordered this rug. I wanted something with some thickness to it as I have hardwoods in my whole house and wanted an area around the living room I felt cozy in. After much research I purchased this one. I regret nothing!!! This rug is almost 2” thick, beautiful and super soft. I got it in dark grey and it is by far these best bang for the buck. I didn’t want to spend 1,000 dollars on a wool rug and I amSo happy I didn’t. I will say it’s a little tough to vacuum and the pile is so thick is maybe my only complaint. Order one and be confident in your buy you will love it.

I love these rugs, they are so thick, plush and such better quality than a lot of the others on amazon. I went back and forth between the dark gray and ivory but ended up buying the gray runner 2’x21’ and the 8’x10’ and they are perfect. Very fast shipping, when my cheaper “Amazons choice” one comes on May 6 I’ll write a comparison update, I ordered them at the same time. As far as these two, there was only a very faint new carpet smell that went away after a day and both rugs are laying completely flat after less than a day. I was really surprised the 21’ runner was flat within a few hours.

For the price, my hopes weren't too high but I was pleasantly surprised. The color is really nice and it's soft to the touch and feels plush when walking on i. It would be better with a rug pad underneath but even without, it doesn't slip and feels fine. Would definitely recommend for the price point.

I bought this rug after seeing a more expensive Laura Ashley gray shag rug at Sam's Club. It is very soft. There is a faint smell from packaging but nothing overwhelming and I'm sure it'll dissipate in the coming days. There is a weird bunched up part where the rug was rolled for shipping but I'm sure it'll smooth out with time. The back is burlap type material. I bought a no slip pad and a felt pad to go under the carpet. This has made it very cushioned. Overall I like it. It's not as soft as the Laura Ashley one but it's a more reasonably priced rug and it's still pretty soft. Bonus points: my cat LOVES it and has spent the past 30 minutes rolling around and playing on it.

Color- yes, it does have a tinge of blue but it is overall grey. Depending on where you stand the color can be a silvery grey or charcoal.Comfort- super comfy! it laid flat once I rolled it out and the shag is very comfortable to the touch. I am putting a rug pad under it to protect our wood floors but we've had it for 2 weeks already and it is very soft and comfortable without a rug pad as well.Overall- I really like it in our room! I'm planning on coordinating it with our white slipcovered furniture, turquoise and coral accessories. The rug looks like it would look great in a variety of decors. You can sink your finger into the rug; it is very plush. We haven't had a problem with any shedding or loose threads. I would recommend this rug to anyone looking for a "shag" rug.

I have owned this rug for around a month now, and I loved it since I received it, but was not going to give a review... just because it takes time and energy. However, after having several friends over recently and hearing them go on and on about the rug, I felt I owed you all my opinion. The rug is spectacular- and the price is every bit worth the value that you will get. Tonight I had some friends come over whom had previously seen the rug... the first thing they did when enter my house was openly declare they were kicking off their shoes and heading over to rug to feel it beneath their feet and dance around on it.I would like to purchase the teal color rug in a 5x3 next, but for some rason its not available on Amazon currently.
