I have cystic acne, eczema, and extremely sensitive skin, and unless I’m spending over $100 on a cleanser, almost everything I try burns, even the dermatologist-recommended brands.After years of trial and error, I started using Garnier Micellar Water as my only cleanser, and it’s been a game changer. This works the way I was always told micellar water was supposed to work. I normally purchase more expensive brands that are cruelty free, highly rated, etc. I tried more expensive micellar water and it didn’t clean very well. I thought it was the product and not the brand. Eventually someone talked me into trying this and I won’t buy anything else now. It’s great for a quick clean during the day, after a workout, or even instead of washing your face at night when you’re exhausted. I don’t wear much make up, so not sure if it would completely remove foundation, concealer, BB etc. but it probably would. I have very sensitive skin and have never had a reaction to this. I don’t even rinse it off because it’s slightly moisturizing.

This stuff does work pretty well on waterproof mascara. My ever-faithful Ponds cold cream had been my go-to product for all things waterproof for decades (my mom used it as far back as I can remember- we're talking since about 1960), but the Ponds I bought about 5 years ago was a completely different texture- much lighter-weight, not as heavy-greasy and only got maybe 50% of the mascara off. In a nutshell, it sucked- I was so disappointed that they changed the original formula. I had been on the hunt for a replacement and saw this product always made the top 10 lists for removing waterproof makeup. I couldn't understand that it would work, but was so inexpensive, thought I would give it a go. I use it with a cottonball, and do have to put a bit of gentle rubbing in, but man it worked super well! Highly recommend it!

I absolutely love this micellar water! I used to use retinol makeup remover wipes, but they left my skin with a reddish tint and very blotchy. I put some of this micellar water on a cotton round and swipe it around my eyes, nose, cheeks, mouth, and forehead. I am astounded at how much dirt comes off my face! My skin looks much clearer and I have been told that I look younger. I'm so glad I tried this product!

Amazon kept asking me to review this so I asked my wife and she said 4 stars. She said it still takes a while for her to take off her makeup with it, but she hasn't found anything better

Best makeup remover I’ve used. It gets off makeup easily, even waterproof!! My skin feels clean after using this, unlike with makeup wipes which made me feel like there was some sort of residue left. I simply use it with a paper towel to wipe off makeup or cleanse my face at the end of the day. There is no scent, and no irritation (I have sensitive skin).

This has been the only product that works quickly and effectively on my waterproof eye makeup—with minimal wiping!
