Stretch Velvet Fabric for Costumes and Crafting by The Yard (Pink,1 Yard)

This is beautiful fabric that's easy to sew and looks very luxurious but is manageable and easy to work with. It is very reasonably priced. It was delivered quickly and in good condition.

I used this to make a Grinch/Krampus dress. The velvet is thin and stretchy which made it ideal for my needs. If you have nonexperience sewing stretchy fabric you may struggle with it at first. It is quite thin, so it will not be good for keeping warm but as I live in Florida it was perfect for me. However, whenever I wear it in my car, it leaves red fibers behind that end up all over others clothes. My son hates this dress as a result.

Purchased this fabric to replace the material under one of my living room chairs. One of my cats destroyed the existing fabric. It has been about a month and it’s really holding up with about 80 commercial grade staples.

This product looks nice. I haven’t used it yet for my project so we’ll see how useful it is. But the SMELL! Oh my god it arrived smelling so awful. The inside of the package it was delivered in... the bag it came in, the fabric itself... I don’t even know how to describe it but it is sooo god-awful. I hope airing it out for a day or so will help. Makes my chest hurts, it’s so bad!
