Loved but?
Good series, but too many loose ends. What happens to Oscar's mom? Loved the character development and scene building. Ending of BD was so anticlimactic! Needed a better epilogue...imo

3.5 ⭐️
Not a bad series, but I would have loved more sexy times between them all in EVERY book. She had 4 guys drooling over her, but they just never seemed to spend enough time getting it on, for my taste. Only about twice per book. Also, and it may have just been me that missed it, but what the hell did Kyla actually look like? Not once did we find out her eye colour, face shape etc, in ANY BOOK. Did she have a gentle, kind face? A button nose? Expressive eyes?Who the heck knows?!?!? It took 2 books to even find out she had dark hair. And the length of it was another book, until we found out it was long.Frustrating.The story was good though. I’d love to read more about Jax and Finn.

Enjoyed this series overall, it just didn't suck me in and make me obsessed- nothing wrong with it- i'm just a mood reader and probably could have read it when i was more in the mood for it instead

Knockout ending
I thought I was prepared for this book. I had a good understanding of the plot, the characters and what needed to be done. Well I was so wrong. This book turned everything sideways and made me question everything. There are still twists and secrets to come out as our beloved characters fight to get their HEA.At one point my heart was in tatters... the emotion displayed on the pages was so thick it oozed through. The steam was incredibly hot and increased tenfold in this book. There was even a really hot group scene. Yowzers.I’ve loved this story from the start and have been championing with Kyla to get her revenge, but not sure how it was going to play our. I’ve felt the pain, the fear, the paranoia and love these characters experienced. Brawler will always be my favorite followed closely by Magnum. But... Johnny shows up in a real way. His character growth was the biggest and he had the most to lose.Incredible story from start to finish. Mostly told through Kyla’s POV there were a few from others. Med-high steam. HEA. Triggers. Sexual abuse and attempted rape. Violence and death.

Glad to see a happy ending for this bunch
I absolutely loved this series and I’m sad to see it end. But totally glad it ended in the way it did. I shed quite a few tears at the end. The group is getting the ending they deserve.

:/
I’m... kind of disappointed. The first three books were pretty solid four star books. I overlooked the broken sentences and just enjoyed the tone and characters of the book. The series was alright and even pretty good until about 82% into the last book. And without getting too spoilery... I was so onboard with Kyla until 82% in. Then I saw all of EM’s hard work come crashing down around herself and her readers. She rushed it.She freaking rushed the ending. She must have panicked and thought she needed the book out quickly? It did come out fairly quick after the third book. The moment Kyla just... STOPS fighting to kill K... it makes NO SENSE. And then she has Kyla just... wandering around aimlessly almost until randomly she gets a gun shoved in her hand at the end.Everything else was good - the big reveals, the relationships... but she rushed the damn ending AND made Kyla look really really stupid for no good reason. Kyla is a great character and she didn’t make her moment of weakness believable. She made Kyla stupid and I like Kyla so much I’m unsure I want to forgive the author for that.I’ve read another series by this author that I like - it wasn’t epic - but I enjoyed it. And this series was awesome up until 82% of book four!! So I will still read books by the author ... but dang. She needs to NOT rush her endings. AND she needs honest people in her corner who should have called her on that rushed ending. It was not okay.

Wow
Amazing. What a conclusion. I’m a little sad we didn’t get to see them not dealing with dodging death and the cops in the future but who knows maybe. The characters had unbelievable growth In this. Johnny definitely realized the lie of a life he was living. Oscar finally got someone who loved him and wouldn’t use him. Brawler finally got out. Magnum finally stopped living a double life. And Kyla finally gets peace and happiness. I loved every second!1000000000000/5

Absolutely fantastic series.
Oh, hell, what a book this was. I absolutely love it, and I can honestly say that I hardly ever read a book this quick.Kyla has been absolutely brilliant. She’s had chance after chance to get out of the Crew, but she hasn’t. She doesn’t want to let her plan go, and she doesn’t want to leave her boys behind. She’s such a strong character, and some of the stuff she goes through in this book, and yet comes out the over side just proves it.Johnny is everything. He’s my new book boyfriend. He’s been an absolutely fantastic character and his character development has been brilliant. I absolutely love his relationship with Kyla, and I love the development he has over her relationship with the other three. Those moments between them all were hot. I loved seeing him finally stand up to his dad. Kyla brought the best of him out.Magnum has been a brilliant character too. I’ve loved seeing his relationship with Kyla grow. His loyalty and friendship with Johnny has also been brilliant, and he really helped with making Johnny understand Kyla’s choice to want all four of them. His big secret at the end. Holy shit, I did not see that coming. Sly, Mag, sly. He definitely saved the day at the end.Oscar and Brawler have both been brilliant characters too. They’re relationship with Kyla has been brilliant. I also love how they’ve gradually gotten closer to Johnny, and accepted him, and in the end, they’ve all become a family.Big Daddy K. Jesus christ, what a man. I did not see his manipulation and plot at the end coming. I knew he was a monster the whole way through, but jesus, he exceeded my expectations. His relationship with Johnny, I mean, god it was wrong. I felt so sorry for him growing up with that monster. At the end, I was just wishing for his death. He was a disgusting monster of a man. I was completely satisfied with his ending, and I couldn’t have wished for it any more than I did.The storyline was absolutely fantastic. There was twists and turns that I really didn’t see coming. It was just brilliant to read. I haven’t been this gripped on a book for a while, and I’ve completely binge read this series.Overall, this series has been absolutely fantastic, and it’s slipped its way into my all time top 5. I would definitely recommend this series. It’s a masterpiece.Jessreviews.co.uk

Knockout Series
First time reading any hooks by this author and I have to say I'm really impressed. This review is for the whole series.Great characters with fleshed out personalities meant you got invested in the storyline being told. The FMC was strong and independent and I liked that she was into MMA and could go toe to toe against the boys. The 4 male leads all had their own personalities and they all suited the Kyla as partners. I loved the side characters of Finn and Jax and I'm glad they've got their own books to explore them further. Also, would love to hear more of Cole's story. The storyline was complex and captivated my attention throughout all 4 books, normally that can be a struggle for an author to keep the reader invested but I found this not to be the case with this series.I highly recommend this book series and look forward to reading other books by this author.

Gangs, Four Hot Guys, ,Guns, Violence and a Bossy Girl
This final instalment sees the guys of ‘The Crew’ and Kyla/Joey, coming to terms with rival gang ‘The Dragons’ and one lapsed member on a vendetta to gain control (Gregory)Okay....I,m just going to say it.I don’t get reverse harem love stories. This is the second one in a row I have read and, there are certain issues I always have with them.Things that I find annoying are, authors always use the multiple partner relationship as an excuse to have a threesome, foursome, or (in this case) fivesome. These scenes always progress the way you’d expect, and THIS makes them predictable.Plus, there is always one of the guys that I like more than the others (in this case Oscar) and I find it difficulty BELIEVE thata. The girl involved can care about them all EQUALLY (Lets not even contemplate the whole rotating sleeping arrangements)b. That the guys involved are completely onboard. That there are no jealousy issues. We only got a short glimpse of this with Johnny.Real life just isn’t like that, no matter how bad the guys lives where OR how much they all bonded. I don’t know any guys that would be okay with this situation. Also Kyla...I found her to beSelfish when is came to the guysGreedy, needyShe had a Queen complexLoves being worshipped by her Pussy whipped boys, and them telling her, or worshipping her body with their eyes...Ugh!And don’t get me started on the hideous description of the purple dress she got from Lynettes store to wear to the club. Her most frequently used phrase was “I’m not going to lie”Kyla was everyone’s saviour. She was going to get them all out of The HeightsKyla is like their therapist/life coach, taking onboard all their past indiscretions and dealing out solutions. For someone her age she appears to have all the answers.Don’t get me started on the puke worthy speech Magnum/Jacob gives to be towards the end. Gushing about how amazing she is healing all of them...C’mon!Speaking of Magnum, he was probably the person in her ‘harem’ that I disliked the most.He was sneaky and manipulative. You could bet your bottom dollar, when ever there was a group sex session, he would instigate it OR, was the first to claim her. Also, he comes across as an older guy as well, which makes it waaay creepy. When I found out what his ‘secret’ was, I was like YES! I new it.Then I wanted him to stay bad, and he didn’t...Boo!I also don’t know why the author shied away from having one of the guys get killed or at lest suffer a gang related debilitating injury.I mean, come on...I can’t believe all they came away with was few bullet wounds and bruises if these bands were supposed to be so scary. And the purple gun??? Ugh!I was disappointed with this book.By the time I got to the epilogue I had given up on any kind of surprises ending.I was resigned to the fact that it was just going to be a quick wrap up of all their storyline’s,....And it was, boring and predictable.Three stars

Wow wow wow, where to start!I was completely hooked from the moment i dived into this recommended book series by E.M Moore and i was not disappointed.Kyla is a strong independent passionate main character who is badass, a wild one and loving. The plot, twists and turns keeps your gripped from page 1!Where to begin with the hunky men of the crew! Each of them you connect with in a different way i love brawlers passion, Oscar/bats banter and playfulness, Magnum I felt really grew with the book and I feel like i am possible in love with him right now!!😍For me, in book 4 was a real turning point for Johnny, i felt his pain, his loyalty and how he effortlessly put Kyla and his boys first! There are definitely lots of OMFG moments.Finn and Jax - I wanna know more of these two.. 🤞👏This is an outstanding gripping series and I'm glad I waited until all 4 books where releasee!❤
