Baught this for covering pellet smoker in cold weather. Works great at maintaining temp. Also would make a great fire blanket. The price is the best part.

I use these for welding, but I get the most use out of covering my Traeger when smoking in the winter. Really keeps in the heat. Highly recommend.

Be careful because this will make you itchy. I do not recommend cutting it down to smaller sizes unless you have pretty good confidence in what you're doing. This fiberglass is no joke, I wear rubber gloves when I handle. Is this a pain yes but it's well worth it fire isn't getting through this one at least it hasn't for me.I personally depend very heavily on reviews that are posted on Amazon, as do many other consumers. I’ve never ordered fireproof blankets before but these seemed like they were a good product for the money and will do the job. Naturally I won’t be testing the amount of fire proof abilities they have, I hope.

I saw many comments of people complaining about loose fibers and itching and alergic reactions. I am sorry for them but I did not have this issue. Actually it is working very fine and I built a pvc frame for it and it is protecting most of my workshop! I am thinking on buying a second one!

I purchased this to help alleviate my smoker's temperature swings in the colder climate I live in and it DID NOT disappoint!!! For reference, I usually go through 12-15 lbs. of pellets on a 10 hour brisket, but after using this simply draped over my Pit Boss, i only used 3 or 4lbs over the same duration!!! Great product, although I used it in a completely different way than intended!

Using it for my pellet grill smoker insulation. Works pretty good. Bumps temps up in windy weather. folds up nicely

I bought this to use as a welding blanket not as a cover to keep my smoker warm. I have a Big Green Egg and have smoked brisket for Christmas in both Montana and Colorado with out the need of a blanket! This worked great as a thin welding blanket. I would not want to weld directly on it, but was great for deflection of sparks and not letting me catch the boat on fire. If you need this for a smoker however you probably should have done a little research and not wasted your money on whatever you ended up with!

Good quality for the price, fold easily for storage, everyone welding should have these if they're doing a variety of projects

One of the two blankets have badly frayed material where the grommets are located. I'm currently using them outside to fireproof a temporary bar-b-cue shelter made of wooden skids and snow. Considering the price, it's not a bad deal. The product essentially does the job. Using some high temperature silicone will seal these areas. I don't really think it's worth returning.You get what you pay for - cheap price - cheap quality.I feel I was a bit hasty buying this product. I should have gone to some stores first.Four stars - again considering the price, not a bad deal, not great either.

Did make some holes though.It then tears very easily. One or two time use!
