Keep It Up / Lovin Every Minute of It

Following up their first two multi-platinum albums with "Keep It Up," Loverboy continued their winning ways. This 1983 album is chocked full of terrific Loverboy music! Songs like, "Hot Girls in Love," "Strike Zone," "Queen of the Broken Hearts," and "Meltdown" keep this collection at full throttle. While there are some slow songs as well, "Keep It Up," captures Loverboy on top of their game. This disc is packaged with their 1985 follow-up album, "Lovin' Every Minute of It," which, while it has some great songs, marks a significant drop-off of their creative powers. Songs, such as, "Lovin' Every Minute of It, "This Could Be the Night," and "Destination Heartbreak" are all top notch, but most of the other songs just aren't near the same quality as these. Having said all that, this is still a worthwhile addition to any Loverboy fan's collection and represents a good value for the money. Notably, these discs have been remastered and the sound is a bit more "up to date" sonically, while maintaining the integrity of the music. Overall, a worthy selection, but casual fans should probably stick to one of their many greatest hits packages.

....but not bad either. Nothing stands up to Loverboy's first two discs.  Loverboy/Get Lucky  are also available as BGO's remasters here on Amazon as a two-disc set). They're in a class all by themselves. But these remasters sound good.

This CD of loverboy is the best there is. My mom has this cassette when I was little. But growing up I couldn't find the CD in any stores. I could still remember the songs that was on the cassette tape. So when I came across it on Amazon.com I ordered it. I really love this CD!

Keep It Up had a few decent songs like Strike Zone, Prime of Your Life, Passion Pit, & Meltdown. After that it's really nothing but schlock. Lovin' Every Minute of It is virtually unlistenable then & now. I bought the cd for remastered KIU. This music evokes better memories from my youth than of the music itself.

I love these 2 on 1 cds and this one is great. The sound quality is superb.

One of the great AOR 'boy bands' as it were, and this was their greatest moment. Best known for 'Working for the weekend' (not on these albums), they were a party band, and could rock if required. I wish music was like this today - unpretentious, not angst-ridden, just plain fun!

dies ist die zweite Doppel-Longplayer Edition von Loverboy aus ihrer besten Schaffensphase, dass im Remastered Sound daherkommt. Wer in den 80ern Rock gehört hat, der ist kaum um Loverboy herumgekommen. Und für alle anderen sie gesagt, dass sie Van Halen und Bon Jovi durchaus im Nacken saßen.Lieder wie Hot Girls in Love oder Dangerous lassen die alten Zeiten wieder aufleben und machen einfach Spaß zu hören.

Auch wenn die Alben nicht mehr die musikalische Qualität des Debuts und des zweiten Alums 'Get Lucky' aufweisen können, ist diese Doppelausgabe dennoch eine willkommene Ergänzung. Das Remastering ist auch hier sehr gut gelungen.

Very good set of Loverboy (Keep and Lovin) sound quality very clear..

Wie erwartet sehr gut. Tolle Lieder, die man als Fan hören muss. CD kam schnell mit der POst. Alles Bestens gelaufen. Musik ist sicher eine Frage des Geschmacks, daher ist ein Urteil schwierig zu erstellen.
