GPS HAT is easy, but does not NTP
Good: this GPS HAT is easy to connect, and the GPS worked well! It acquired a signal quickly, even indoors. The obvious extras are included, like external antenna, uFL to SMA adapter, and mounting standoffs and screws. A Pi with this HAT will fit in most cases that have just a little room above the Pi.However: I wanted to build a Raspberry Pi 4B NTP server. The pulse-per-second (PPS) is just the PPS LED blinking, and that signal is not connected to a GPIO pin so I can't build a super-accurate NTP server with it. I have learned that "GPS with PPS" isn't enough when the PPS is just one blink per second ...
