I’ve just upgraded from a cheap uke from the thrift store and I’m in awe! It’s so easy to play this uke and it sounds so great! I highly recommend.

My daughter loves her ukulele and is enjoying learning a new instrument. The design makes it feel youthful and fun!

For the money, I found better options. I bought this one and ended sending it back. I had no problems doing that. the one fret just buzzed no matter what.

Update (5 weeks post purchase): the C string has a bad buzz. I thought it would improve over time, but it hasn’t. I even ordered new strings. It won’t stay in tune. People said be patient; this appears to be a defect and now it’s too late to return. Lesson learned: I will order direct from Kala.Really struggled to pick from so many brands but it’s hard to go wrong with a Kala. This is a well made uke, with great sound. It takes a while for it to stay in tune (strings need stretching). I love the Kala app and it’s easy to learn. You’ll be more likely to pick up an instrument that looks great! I played a song my first day learning. I can’t wait to get another one! This should come with a bag. This uke came so fast and was packaged perfectly.
