Assembly is minimal with no special tools required, and excellent, clear instructions provided.† The durable Western Red Cedar hull can be left bare and free of varnish and last for years to come as cedar is naturally rot resistant.† It does come sanded and ready for a first coat of varnish.† The Racing Sloop is terrific in any water from the hot tub or swimming pool up to ponds and lakes. With almost half the weight in the zinc ballast casting, the sloop can never tip over. Sailors of all ages will admire the craftsmanship of the Racing Sloop. For adults the T Class Racing Sloop is a fun toy to relax with. For youngsters, the sloop is truly durable - the perfect boat to begin a life of sailing. The western red cedar hull, and nylon spinnaker cloth sails are designed to last for years.
