OtterBox Commuter Cell Phone Case for Samsung Galaxy Note5 - Frustration-Free Packaging - Royal Blue/Admiral Blue

I don't usually write reviews for stuff that I buy off the internet, but this is a special case. Today in the morning my Galaxy Note 5 fell off my motorcycle and got run over by a car. Nothing happened to it whatsoever.

The only case I will buy for my phones. I had one of these fly out of my pocket while on an amusement park ride, landed on the metal surface and was still alive afterwards. Luckily no one was hurt by the flying object.

It's a good thing this case has otter box's patent drop protection, because it seems like they went out of their way to make it out of the most slippery material that exists. I can't understand how anyone would like the way this case feels in their hand. I tried the case for 24 hours, and dropped at least 3 times taking out of my pocket because the poly-carbonate shell is super slick. It just doesn't work for me at all. The Symmetry series is a little better because it has the rubber bumper all the way around. Another big con for me is the inner soft rubber is way to flexible, and doesn't wrap the phone very well. The rubber around the power and volume buttons peels away very easily from the phone, and in my experience this will only get worse as the case gets older and more used. Overall just not feeling this case at all. I'll stick with my candy shell grip.

This case is phenomenal, but I am very upset that the hard shell blue is so drastically different color-wise and just a shade under electric blue. It feels way too bright and I can't even convince myself that it's a valid replacement for what I wanted. I just don't want to go another couple weeks with no case after returning and buying a different color, so unfortunately I am stuck with it.

Nice case easy to put on and very durable for the price

Love this case! It is so durable and not as bulky as ones I have had in the past. I have dropped my phone ore times than I would like to remember and it is always protected.

The case is good and fits my phone well, but the color is way off. I wouldn't have picked the blue if the listing had an accurate photo of the color.

Dropped my phone so many times, more times I don't want to remember. Otterbox saved it. If you are an Iphone or Android user, once you drop your expensive phone, cracks/scratches, its done!! Otterbox saved it. Don't buy imitation. Get the real thing!

Not as tough as other otter boxes. But I am tougher than other phone users. It does protect the phone, but mine has broken off at the bottom where it is thin.

Would not waste my money on the commuter...did not protect my phone..screen ended up cracked and warranty is now void on my phone!Should have bought defender
