Like the mirror, color not true
This is a difficult review to write. There are things I really like and those I don't like about this mirror. As other reviewers have mentioned, the color in the advertisement photo is far from true. The tone is more gold than silver. Despite the fact that metal accents in my bedroom are nickel I took a chance and ordered the mirror anyway. Color is definitely on the gold side and didn't look right. But I like the style of the frame and the mirror image quality is good. So I bought soft silver metallic spray paint, applied a dark glaze and am now truly pleased. However, if you don't want to jump through those hoops and silver color is important to you, you might want to keep looking. If you don't care about the color and like the style, then you too might enjoy this.

Not exactly what I'd hope it would be...
The mirror arrived quickly and in good condition, but it's not as nice as I hoped it would be. Actually, it looks kind of cheap, and not even like wood. The finish is more of an orange-brass tone. It'll be used in a hallway so will work.

Love it, but it is not silver
I love this mirror! As others mention, it is definitely a more gold or bronze color but this worked well for me because that's exactly what I was looking for. It is definitely not silver at all but is light weight and nice looking

Nice, but color isn't right
Ordered the Howard Elliott Collection 4052 Trafalgar Oval Mirror, 19-Inch by 27-Inch, Virginia Gold Leaf. The mirror has a nice design, but in the pictures online, the color looks like a bronze/dark brass. The actual color is more of a rust/orange color. Will keep it for the price and find another location where the color will work.

Could be sold in different colours
I didn’t like the colour so painted it to match my powder room. It was very disappointing to not have a wide range of oval mirrors.I do like the mirror itself. I have other Howard Elliot mirrors and do indeed like them.Thank you
