Service Kit for Shimano Alfine 11 Hub & 50ml Genuine Shimano SG-S700 Hub Oil

I found this kit to be quite complete and easy to use.Thanks to that, and given the complexity of my 11-speed IGH, I'll definitely be changing its oil a couple times a year.

My use-it-anywhere bike has a Shimano Alfine 11 speed internally geared hub. This kit makes changing the hub oil easy and a do it yourself project. It comes with a syringe, an adapter tube, and 50ml of real Shimano oil. You use the syringe to pull the old dirty oil out, inject about 25ml of the new oil to clean the internals, and redrain the less-dirty oil out. Then you inject the rest of the new oil in and close it up. You are supposed to do that every 500 miles -- and it does make a difference in how smooth the hub runs!My syringe was a bit sticky till I used it a couple of times. Other than that, the kit was great. My (wonderful) LBS needs about $70 for changing the oil -- not too bad, but they usually need the bike for a couple of days. This kit gets it done at home in a hour or less. From here on out, I will buy the oil in 1000ml size and reuse the kit. Thanks for reading.

This product is as described. It comes with the necessary components to remove the old oil, flush with new oil and replace with the remaining 25 ml of new oil. It does require a little dexterity to be able to remove and replace the oil cap on the hub. I could barely get a 10 mm wrench on the fill tube fitting but it does not take much to seat the o-ring seal. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.

All the tops needed to change your hub oil in one place. I highly recommend the kit and everything comes as described. The manufacturer for y bike water a lot more for a kit. Well worth the money.

It worked like I expected. The suction device works OK, but I had to do numerous times to most all of the fluid out. It filled fine, although I would recommend overfilling the recommended amount. The plunger won’t completely empty the syringe when filling. If you put the recommended amount in you will be short because a bit remains in the syringe. Overall, I’m satisfied with the product

As the product name says, this kit really does make the job of changing the oil in a sealed hub easy. If you do your own maintenance, the Easybleed Kit is well worth the modest price.

This kit includes what the description states and is the highest quality. Tube and syringe are precision made, no air leaks. The oil is in an unlabeled bottle, its green stuff, looks the same as in any YouTube tutorial on the process so I have confidence it’s the right type or something close.

If you are in a hurry, this may not be your best option since it shops from ESTONIA. Oil is included bu it is NOT in the SG-700 bottle and it is not labeled; let's hope they bought a larger container and poured out the proper amount rather than use a non-OEM oil that is the same color. As in the picture, everything is shipped in an EU manufactured plastic container that was intended for kitchen use; not a problem. Unlike the picture, the plastic container is unlabeled; also not a problem. The container also includes a Braun Omnifix 30 ml syringe, an adapter hose, an allen wrench on a small plastic bag, printed instructions and two plastic gloves. The instructions are a copy of the actual (!) Shimano TL-S703 Oil Maintenance Kit instructions in English and German.
