Mixsuper Compatible with 2017-2022 Mazda CX-5 Wireless Car Charger CX5 Fast Charging Pad with USB Port 36W QI Wireless Phone Charging Charger

Installed in a 2020 CX-5 GT.Although it is VERY easy to install, there is a small black rubber pad in the middle of the shell that goes into what amounted to a junk collection tray. That little pad made the tray wobbly. I removed it and it sits flush now. There is a red strip on the front. This is double sided tape and once the outer strip is removed it gives the tray some stability. I may put double sided tape on the back part if it turns out that I need it.I've only had this for a day so I can't say much about the charging ability. Although I can tell you that an iPhone Xr with a thick OtterBox Defender case definitely fits and charges. I got it mostly for long trips so I don't have to deal with an extra wire. I reckon my wife and I will take turns. I have a wireless CarPlay Dongle and now with this, my phone can stay completely wireless. :)** I got this used from Amazon for a good price. Although I think its a bit overpriced I would have got it anyway.

Looks great in photos, but it didn't fit well and felt cheap so I sent it back.

I added this with a carlink 2.0, it is a perfect combination, I can upgrade my CX5 with wireless charging that doesn't take up space and dangle with the charging cable, and use Apple CarPlay wirelessly together. Best Upgrade so far.

Looks like it was part of the console.. Easy to install. My only negatives are it gets hot when charging phone. Mfg told me it has alarm if it gets too hot and close open apps on phone when using. Also back of unit doesn't lay perfectly flat as it wasn't perfectly flat when molded

While everything else works just like before when you didn't have your cell phone plugged in, you do have a place to put your phone complete with wireless charging (which you can turn on and off), you cannot go to Google maps (Google Home) without using the special USB port in the arm rest. The USB port they provide does not connect to Google Maps either. I don't think it is my service or phone - I have a Samsung Galaxy 9+ T-Mobile. I can't speak to Apple Play. I won't return it because I don't have to use Google Maps very often.

This charging pad fits well in the car with a slight gap. When I placed my Samsung S21 ultra on the pad, the phone display says "quick charge not available" this, it's charging at a slower speed. Which is the main reason I purchased the car charger. Very disappointing. 😒. This is the claim they make.. Fast Charging with USB Port 36W QI Wireless Smart Phone Charging Pad. Put in 2021 Mazda CX5. It fits great and looks good. Just peel off sticky tape strip and push into place after plugging in lighter plug. The LED voltmeter is unnecessary. And I don’t think it charges my phone very fast, but more important, it keeps it charged when using for wireless CarPlay (I also bought the dongle for wireless CarPlay).I would buy it again.

It works great in my car. I bought a new phone this year LG G8 to Galaxy Note Ultra and it still works. You have to put the car in neutral to place it in the right spot. After that it never moves. I've had it about a year. The price has come down since I bought it. It knows when I have my phone physically plugged in to Android Auto to not charge the phone wirelessly. I also love the left part of the tray where I stick my keys when I drive and how the color indicator changes to orange when it's charging.
