This cover is definitely not 100% waterproof! I bought two of these covers to protect brand new sofas. One of my pets had an accident on it and the urine went through the cover, staining the sofa fabric beneath it.

We have had this cover for almost a month now, and our dog has had a few accidents on it. Not once did the urine leak through to the couch! We washed it each time on the delicate cycle with cold water, and hung it up to dry. It has held up really well and is still 100% waterproof!! If you don’t want to your sofa to be ruined from spills or accidents, I highly recommend this product!

My dog had an accident on it and it was truly waterproof and saved my sofa. Washes easily!My sofa has big armrests, so the cover doesn’t go all the way over them, but, it works great for the purpose it was intended for.

This is not waterproof. It may work for minor spills if you find the spill immediately. Had a cat pee on my couch during the night and it had soaked through by morning.

I like this sofa cover. It is made of good quality fabric and very easy to put on. On the right side, there are three pockets which are handy to put your tablet or cellphone. It had a little smell when I just opened the package, but it was totally gone after I hung it in the back yard for a day. I want to mention that the day I hung it outside, it drizzled a bit, but this sofa cover was not wet! So I bielieve it is truly waterproof.

Whenever I buy a product, I wait until I've used it for a while before I write a review. I purchased this product in May and here's the skinny:Pros:-Great colors to choose from and mildly water resistant, NOT waterproof.- Washable if you do it correctly: Wash on warm and dry low.Cons:- Straps do break easily as others have complained.- NOT WATERPROOF: I have a rescue dog who has problems with housetraining. I bought this product because he has urinated on my couch (thank God my couch is machine washable). Training has been going well, but he will sometimes make mistakes. Just recently, I went into the living room and found pee on the couch. Now, I was in the living room 10 minutes before and no pee. When I found the pee, most of it already seeped into the Easy-Going covering. Thank goodness, I read the low reviews because of was suspicious of the efficacy of this product so I purchased PoochPads (water-resistant, re-usable pee pads) and put them underneath the Easy-Going cover). Now some droplets were still on the cover, but I suspect that they would have seeped in eventually. Now you might think that the backing (pictured) should prevent the urnine from seeping through to the couch. Nope, the backing is porous. The PoochPad protected the couch, not the cover. I was able to successfully wash the cover, but I was careful because other people said it fell apart after washing which theoretically could have to do with putting the cover in a super hot dryer. As mentioned, I washed with warm water and dried on low. Hope this is helpful.

I bought this because I have a new sofa and an old cat who would get sick on furniture. I found it to be high quality and it seemed water proof when I spilled a few drops of water on it. The water trickled down and off. I can't say if it was a gallon of water but it seemed so since none of the few drops absorbed and there wasn't even a wet spot.Unfortunately, my kitty needed to go over the rainbow bridge a few days after I received this so I no longer had a use for it. My sofa is sage green and I had ordered the grey-green and the color was off. Otherwise, I may have kept it regardless of my cat.Customer service was great! The return was easy going(like the name).

I've had this couch cover for about 2 months now and its OK. It does not dit as nicely as the photos show...but its doing the job of protecting the couch so far.Pros: It seems to be pretty waterproof. Our dog spends his days licking homself and so dar the couch is clean underneath.- the color is true to what was advertised.- price us right...we bought another one that was similar in price and claimed it was water resistant...it wasn't.Cons:- It doesn't fit as nicely as the photos show on the couch overall.- It is not ideal for couches that have back cushions thay come off. When my husband sits on the center of the couch, the side back cushions fold in.- They could have made the sides a little longer so that you can really tuck the cover in the sides.

So far so good , but is too early to fully review the cover.

My cat promptly peed on my new sofa the day it was delivered. Luckily I installed the slip cover. It is perfectly waterproof! It was so easy to wipe off the pee. Highly recommended for households with unspayed cat.
