I have seen water coolers like this in my friends and families homes and over the years, I have always wanted one for my home but just haven’t purchased one yet. I finally decided to look on Amazon and find one to order! This is the first time l bought the water cooler & I’m so happy with it, that I’m wondering why I didn’t buy one years and years ago! It works FABULOUS!!! The hot water is very hot and l can use it for Hot cocoa, hot tea, and and my cup noodles very easily. My kids absolutely love that they can just use this super quick to make their hot chocolate or soup! Or to fill up their cold water bottles in the morning before school! The hot water tap is extremely hot so I am so glad that the hot water safety feather is on top and it’s not so easily to operate which is more safe for little kids. I do love this part a lot . The cold water tasted so good ( I really don’t like drinking regular temperature water ) and l bought the particular filter and water tank to fit this cooler and it works fantastically!!! Now that l have this cooler , l start to drink more water everyday because it’s so convenient. The only thing I really don’t like about this water cooler is when it’s turned on and running the motor, it is quite noisy… But it is not near the bedroom so luckily we don’t hear it at night! The cooler has one small storage compartment but it’s too small to fit cups or somethings bigger... So it just remains empty at our home! Overall, this water cooler is basically inexpensive and does a fabulous job at making icy water or hot water extremely convenient to use! I would definitely recommend this for every household if that would like one! We were living someplace that didn't have a dispenser in the fridge and the landlord wouldn't spring for that when they replaced the appliance. We were moving back home anyway due to covid, but our water dispenser was broken at the house. We also drink tea every morning, so it would be nice to have this anyway aside from having a water dispenser. I wanted something under $100 that could hold a 5gal, and this is perfect.The common thread in the negative reviews is that something was wrong with the mechanism. It did ship with literally just a layer of cardboard, and barely any styrofoam to speak of ... if you have trouble with your packages not being treated gently, or being put on your doorstep in the wet ... don't get this.Since we had to move, I did have to drain it, it was easy enough and sealed back nicely. It did have a lot more in the reservoir than I would have imagined though.Here are problems with it: the instructions say that you can't have the hot and cold on at the same time! That's really the only bad thing. There are other aspects that aren't my favorite: the surface (water catch) underneath the spouts is extremely narrow, so you can't safely let a glass fill without standing there and holding it the whole time. I thought the storage area would be a good place to put paper cups, but it's tiny, and can maybe hold a couple of plastic water bottles, or maybe some dixie mouthwash cups.The other things people talked about in reviews ... you are not going to get ice-cold water cold out of it. It's chilled water, which is just fine. There seemed to be some dispute in the Q&A ... the storage area is not chilled. As far as stooping over to fill up cups, yes you'll have to do that. You could put it on top of something, at your own risk. But, at that point, you might as well get a countertop version. I've never been to an office water cooler where I didn't have to stoop, so I don't know what these people are on about.

Product is great! Hot water is hot and cold is cold, there is a little plastic taste at first but flush it through with a gallon or two after setting up and I haven’t noticed it since.There are a few things which made me give it four stars:The unit is short. It’s maybe 4 feet tall WITH a 5 gallon jug on top. I am 6’3” so I need to find a stand to put it on for my back’s sake.Secondly, the little ledge for the cup to sit on is far too small for me to let something sit there and fill up without fear of tipping off.Otherwise it does exactly as advertised and for the price I’m happy!(PS, this thing pretty much requires the jugs with the puncture lids, attempting to put open jugs on it is a messy disaster)

This water dispenser works GREAT!!! Both HOT and COLD side are amazing !! I made instant coffee with the hot side and had to sip it . It was right at the same temp as a drip coffee maker👍. The cold side feels like straight from my fridge without taking up room in it lol. The hot safety lever works great but as a WARNING if you JUSTused it there is residual HOT !! WATER!! at the end of the spout .... I had to turn it off due to my kids almost touching it 😳🙁🙁 !!! And at first there was a funky plastic taste but after I ran 6-7 cups out of it and everything heated and cooled it went away

You get what you pay for, and this is a product to avoid at all costs. It has leaked 3 times since we bought it in later November 2024. The hot water is unusable because it essentially boiled the water causing a whole set of other issues.AVOID!
