Good for snagging mullets in schools.

I love these hooks. I use 2 lb test on whole reel. Cut a nightcrawler in half. Shove the hook in the cut end. To hide it. Then just fly line. Every hook get buried into the fish. Caught a 7-14 lb rainbow trout. Also 6-1/2 lb catfish. A long time getting those landed. Just changed that reel to KastKing Kestrel 1000 SFS Spinning Reel Carbon Body.

Excellent hook for tip ups. Red size 12. Landed 4 lb rainbow and the hook did not bend at all. Keeps minnows on as well.

I use the 5/0 size for snagging spoonbill(paddlefish) from the bank and these hooks sink easily through the skin and hold tight. Plenty strong my son landed a 72 pounder last year with these hooks and we are fishing in fast current and since we are snagging in muddy flood stage waters you can't see the fish so they are almost always hooked in mid body or tail end, rarely by the head. There is so much pressure on these hooks and they hold up.

The hooks quality are what I expected. Decent price for 25 nickel hooks.
