This is a beautifully crafted leather halter by a company with great customer service.Measuring: Before ordering, I measured my TB mare's nylon halter and the measurements were so different from both the cob and horse sizes, that I sent them to Tack Shack of Ocala and asked for advice. I received a response immediately recommending the cob size.Ordering: The ordering process is easy and quick.Shipping: fastThe product: The halter is perfect. I am so glad I asked about the sizing as the COB size fits perfectly. The leather is soft and flawless. The nameplate is perfect. The adjustable chin strap is quite long for my mare, but she does have a very narrow head and I expected something like that. I am considering cutting the leather down a bit, so I don't have so much sticking out. You can see the excess strap on one of the photos.

I ordered a weanling halter for my colt with brass nameplate. The leather is so soft and supple! The brass nameplates is very good quality as well. Not the shallow engraving you get from a lot of places. I love this halter so much I have ordered the next size up for him as he's outgrowing his weanling halter. Customer service is always friendly and helpful as well.

Oh my god I’m in love. This is probably the softest leather halter out of the box I’ve ever gotten. A Cob fit my kid perfectly, usually we’re teetering on the edge of “ it could go smaller?” when it comes to halters. But this is perfect. I also was super grateful they were able to add the Westfalen logo when it was not an option. The nameplate engraving turned out beautiful. 100/10, highly recommend it and fingers crossed I won’t be needing another one anytime soon, but if I do I’m 100% coming back.

My poor guy still has his winter coat but he is really handsome sporting his new halter! It was dusk by the time I opened the box but I couldn’t resist going back down to the paddock to try it on!! I was so happy with the packaging and finishing touches (all cleaned and conditioned). Special care was taken to keep the engraved plate beautiful. Thank you to the poster who added Loved by… I stole that idea and I couldn’t be happier with the engraving and halter. I usually feel the nylon halters don’t fit well but this halter exceeds my expectations in fit and ease of haltering. I had to go to the last shortest hole to have it fit but fit it did! The nose band is right where it should be - not hanging down in the soft part of the nose. I adjusted both buckles for an even fit. The leather is amazing and the neck strap is contoured to fit behind the cheek bone and lays so nicely. I am thrilled and can’t wait to have a minute to look at their other products! I would love a neck strap. Excellent purchase - excellent company - great shopping experience.

I just recently bought my horse, and my first order of business was to get him a new halter. When asking around the barn for recommendations for the best place to shop. Every single person said "Go to Tack Shack, you will not be disappointed!" Which, after receiving my halter today is 1000% true! The halter is beautiful and I cannot wait for my boy to put it on.

When I received the halter, I was amazed at the quality of the thick soft leather. The only way to describe it is "buttery." It also arrived in about a week--surprisingly fast for a customized product.Unfortunately, the size I ordered was WAAAY too big for my half Arabian. I reached out to customer service hoping they would help, but not really expecting much because it was my fault for ordering the wrong size. Within 24 hours, Kristen from Ocala Leather's customer service responded and said all I had to do was send it back, and they would attach the nameplate to a cobb-size halter!The new halter fits perfectly. Every time someone at the barn compliments the halter, I can't help but tell them about my wonderful experience. I will DEFINITELY order more items from this first-rate company again.

The halter is beautiful with a nice, heavy nameplate. I appreciate the choice of fonts. The leather is fabulous. It actually arrived 3 days earlier than expected.
