Great quality gravy boat keeps gravy warm easy to clean easy to use and great value for money

Nothing to dislike. It's nice looking and does the job. Not dishwasher proof but I don't mind easy to clean. Very good value for money and pours beautifully

I bought this jug as I had been looking for a while to find a metal jug with a lid to keep boiling water in. I was doing an afternoon tea for some elderly ladies and, because different people like their tea at different strengths, I wanted to have an extra boiling water jug nearby, so that people could top up their cups with extra water or I could just top up the teapot when the level went down. The fact that this is insulated is a bonus for me because I would have been happy with an ordinary jug but this is perfect for what I needed and looked prettier than having the kettle on the table. Another pleasant surprise is that it holds a bit more than it says - you could get a pint in it but that would mean filling it to the very top which wouldn't be advisable - I was tempted to buy a bigger one but I'm glad I didn't now as this was big enough for what I needed. I won't be hosting afternoon tea very often but I can use this for gravy, milk or cream. If I have to mention a negative I would say that the lid doesn't drop down of its own accord when you let go of of the lever on the lid - you have to push it down and also, it doesn't seem to me that the whole item is stainless steel - the base is I'm sure but the lid and handle don't appear to be; I assume because the jug is insulated it has to be a special type of material - I don't know. However I would buy this again because I'm really pleased with it and any negatives I mention don't spoil it for me. It's attractive enough to put out with the china and really useful too.

Keeps gravy sauce warm, don't overfill

Made my gravy for Christmas lunch and filled the jug - gravy kept perfectly and hot for ages - also good quality and attractive in appearance

Brilliant product

I am disappointed with this jug - mainly because it is a sudden fast pourer that can wreck a roast dinner. The user tilts it and without warning it drops a gravy deluge on their dinner. So we're going to stop using it - it's happened too many times.Also, I'm not convinced it the gravy keeps significantly warmer for longer.
